I honestly am not sure. But I remember it circulating on the boards during that 12-13 season. I think Crean even addressed it at one point? Could be wrong there though. But yeah if it's still going on, just reaffirms to me that Crean isn't the right guy
Of all of the things Crean does, having practices before games probably annoys me the most. You just don't do that the day of a game. Never. I can't think of any positives that could come from it and a ton of negatives. No wonder our players flamed out at the end of the tourney. smh
I realize UK is going to win this game, but man why do they constantly give them the #1 ranking at the beginning of the year when it seems clear they aren't that caliber of team. Duke imo would destroy this team right now
Exactly. I really like Irvin and Levert is solid too (although I think he gets too much praise from some) but other than those 2 they have zilch. About the same size post players as us but no one I would even consider taking over Hanner and their guards aren't as good as ours
I might be in the minority on this site, but talking with others on campus it seems like most students would love an alternate jersey or some variation. Not to mention recruits eat that stuff up. It would be nothing but a positive. Sometimes to add to traditions you have to start new ones!
Honestly I am extremely excited for this type of recruit. OG is the definition of a Crean player because he has the athleticism and untapped potential that I believe Crean has a sort of unique ability of finding and polishing. Give him a couple years in the strength program and getting comfortable, we should have a pretty good player on our hands
His team was alright, didnt have any d1 caliber players besides him but our team had no1 that had offers to play ball anywhere. I figured as a top 100 recruit (hollowell) coming out of high school he would impress more but I was very underwhelmed. Much more suited for lower D1 imo and that's right where he is now. Let's not compare sheehey to April and Priller though lol
I play at the hyper as well, and let me tell you priller and April would not school a majority. Hollowell played there last year at the end of the year and the team I played on beat him twice in a row. So no, they wouldn't be schooling everyone at the hyper. And I don't mean to come off as rude, just throwing in my 2 cents (sorry for getting off topic as well)
