  1. Also, here are some highlights if you’re curious:
  2. Yep Charles Campbell will be here in the fall at kicker. Army All American and a 5-star per the Kohl’s kicking camp. And Harris is still on the team, by the way. He’s rehabbing, again, from his 3rd ACL tear. He plans to play.
  3. Also, I’m pretty sure Dawkins got hurt, and then lost his job because the other guy did really well.
  4. Nothing he said was remotely accurate in any way.
  5. You somehow managed to be completely wrong about every single thing you included in that post. Congratulations on that. Ramsey is 6’2”, 210 and Dawkins is 6’3”, 210. We brought in more quarterbacks because we are just now up to four scholarship quarterbacks. And three of them are sophomores or freshmen. Also, Ramsey completed 65% of his passes last year (9 games, 205 attempts)...that was the best single-season completion percentage in the history of Indiana football. It was also second in the Big Ten and 13th nationally. And during Ramsey’s final two games of the season before he got hurt, he went 22-34 (65%) at Michigan State, and 31-41 (76%) at Maryland, with a combined 437 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and one interception. If that’s grossly ineffective, give me grossly ineffective. Ramsey does have things to improve on, and I really like Dawkins. I like the fact that I can feel comfortable with multiple quarterbacks out there. Your post and comments about PR were just wildly inaccurate. Oh, and it’s been the PAC-12 for several years now.
  6. He is supposed to be good to go for the start of summer workouts.
  7. Unless I find any other renderings, I will leave you with this. Our new locker room vs the visitors locker room… :)
  8. Save one for me!

  10. Was anyone disagreeing with that argument? The only point I was making was that not only did pretty much every sport not have a functioning locker room, but basketball had a million other issues to get to before even thinking about a complete locker room redo. Assembly Hall was literally falling apart. Same story with football. The football locker room is cramped and probably should’ve been expanded about 10 years ago, but other things were more important just to get the complex looking decent. Much of this should’ve been done in about 2004 or 2005.

  13. Tronti is definitely 3rd at the moment. He’s only going to be a RS Freshman though. Ramsey and Penix are getting most snaps, yes. Taylor will be on campus in the fall.* It appears he may start off at CB, per Matt Weaver, but they will also likely design a package for him at QB. * It’s hard to keep track of what freshmen arrive early, since it’s happening more and more frequently!

  17. ^^^ All of the above have been renovated. I believe every sport has a new locker room at this point. Swimming just got one. Tennis and golf did as well. Baseball, softball, field hockey, wrestling, and volleyball all have new stadiums/arenas and locker room facilities on site. ^^^ Again, basketball has received upgrades to their LR before, but there was so much else that needed to be done that a complete redo probably got pushed back. I imagine Archie asked for it as well. Here are the current baseball, softball, field hockey, and golf locker rooms, just as a comparison to what I posted above...
  18. Here is what pretty much all of our locker rooms looked like in 2006-2007. Glass arrived in 2009, and mentioned that it was an early goal to renovate all 24 locker rooms in some way... (Field hockey, track, wrestling, baseball, softball, and soccer are shown...field hockey, baseball, and softball were located in Assembly Hall, and they had to walk/ride to their old playing facilities at Mellencamp Pavilion and the old baseball and softball fields up the hill.)
  19. Yeah Fred gave Crean what he wanted. I don’t know that Crean necessarily spent that money wisely.
  20. I would think the basketball locker room will be done by this upcoming season. It’s out for bid now and really shouldn’t take that long. The football locker room probably won’t be ready until the spring or summer of 2019. That’s because they’re completely tearing everything out of that and expanding it and starting over. They’re using the old Hoosier Room and rehab facilities next to the current locker room to create an entirely new layout and lounge. So they can’t start on that until those old facilities move into the south end zone this August. And at that point, the team will need a functioning locker room for the season that isn’t a hard hat area.
  21. I suspect they will be knocking down walls. Football is using the old Hoosier Room and rehab facilities next to their locker room to expand it. There are a lot of old offices/rooms in AH that are not really used anymore.
  22. Yep. And the fact that everything is pretty much centrally located, especially for football, is a really nice recruiting pitch. But even baseball, softball, wrestling, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, etc. can show recruits around the stadium complex, because that’s where everything they could possibly need will be. And their playing facilities are not far away from there. There are a lot of nice facilities at a lot of schools, but many times various training/academic facilities are very spread out all over the place.
  23. Care about what? There is enough equipment in there, and it is large enough to have multiple teams in there at once, comfortably, so that everyone can be using the same equipment. They have had other power five schools come in to check out the layout of it and the football complex. Good planning/smart allocation of resources is not a negative. And again, if football chooses to kick other sports out when they want to lift, they can. It’s their weight room. But that’s never an issue, because of the size and good scheduling. This is making up an issue that doesn’t exist. This is like complaining about how they’re going to also use the new training table/dining hall as a club area on game days. That’s a good use of resources. For a school that doesn’t have the amount of cash like an Ohio State or Alabama, that’s a really good idea.
