  1. UofL makes it difficult (especially living in Louisville), but M$U is just appalling.
  2. I can’t say I blame them at all, judging from going ranked last year to our nearly unprecedented losing streak. They’re hesitant to rank us, and frankly so am I.
  3. That’s what happens when you get a fanbase made up of, conservatively, 70% non-attendees or actual graduates of the university they’re cheering for. That being said, I’ve had WAY more reasonable conversations with Kentucky fans than UofL fans.
  4. IU goes 12-1 and beats Arkansas I could maybe see them cracking the 25, but I still have doubts. It’s gonna take at least a couple conference wins. I’m personally fine with that.
  5. Can't confirm nor deny, but that would be the game he'd be back for.
  6. Cal has had all the talent in the world and gotten one natty in 10 years. That’s not good enough for the culture of UK, who literally only care about winning. Not to mention he hasn’t even gotten to the Final Four since 2015. I said last year I think he’s turned a corner. Nothing lasts forever (thank god)
  7. We can safely say that this season of college basketball has definitely offered perspective on even our ugliest wins.
  8. I think the #1 spot should just be left open for the time being. No one in the top spot could actually be great.
  9. Last year a game like this would be an L. Our “offense by committee” is gonna bail us out A LOT this year.
  10. Should never have been in this position. Period. Ugly W’s all season are going to f***ing kill me, I can’t take this.
  11. Imagine if IU could shoot
  12. And here we go...offense rears it’s ugly head and ND starts hitting 3s
  13. All I ask is for IU got get two big buckets in a row. They’ll score, steal, then fail to convert.
  14. Green’s clearly got something going on in his head
  15. THIS is how I expect them to play.
  16. Maryland Twitter is giving me deja vu right now...
  17. Skimming through, this caught my eye near the end The national average for offensive rebound percentage is 28.2%, which is the lowest in the history of kenpom.com. Once again, if offensive spacing has been increased due to the extended 3-point line and perimeter players are often operating at least one or two feet further away from the rim than they were last season, it makes sense that offensive rebounds are harder to grab. That's a decrease of just 0.2 percentage points from last season and 0.5 percentage points compared to two seasons ago. The national average for offensive rebounding percentage has been as high as 35.6 percent in 2006.
  18. The whole "little brother" complex thing...yeah I've come to realize that's actually Butler. I have always said "I can't hate on Butler" but their fans make it really, really tough. Borderline U of L level.
  19. I think M$U pretty much forfeited their right to anyone feeling bad for them ever again. They're despicable.
  20. RE: UK's loss (and other big losses this season), last year during the tournament, I had a kind of an epiphany. I felt like there was a major paradigm shift starting to take place in the NCAA. The pendulum is starting to swing the other way a little bit in regards to these huge dominant programs, and this season is kind of proving the theory. I'm not sure what's changed really, it's just the feeling of "this can't last forever" is starting to become true. Not to sound all hippie-dippie, just something in the air. Maybe I'm totally wrong.
  21. Just thinking the last day or so, I highly doubt we're getting anyone that's been mentioned so far. Most likely it's going to be someone we didn't see coming and be totally ho-hum and middle of the road. Not be be negative or anything, it's just what I've come to expect.
  22. I have a feeling we're gonna have another FSU night against Notre Dame and then another head scratcher against Arkansas. Just seems like it's gonna be that kinda season. So yeah, I'd say they win about half of their remaining games. Satisfied with that? Realistically, I think I should be at this point. But overall, definitely not ideal.
  23.   No doubt! I feel like this is a bad year for college basketball in general, not just the B1G or the SEC. If I were the NBA this year I'd be like "nah, maybe next year."
  24. Ugh please don't let NW beat Maryland. Cheapens our win.
