  1. Anunoby doesn't move Crystal Ball meter a lot. 4 total picks. All for IU. Find out really soon, I suppose.
  2. I wonder that too. I've not heard Cameron mentioned by anyone yet? Any story, besides "Covington's Arm Strength"?
  3. Posted in the OG thread. Sounds like we better get used to THE 'OG' Anunoby!
  4. Speaking of Wynn.... I really like him as a player but man this year has been rough. Drops.... Lacking separation on the outside....Fearful of returning punts......He deserved better as a Senior.. Hope he has a great 2nd half. I blame the coaching staff for putting him outside. Should've never left the slot!
  5. @OAnunoby: BIG throwback lol s/o @world_star23 for the video??? http://t.co/ZdZKNnjlw3
  6. Shoulda been a Hoosier 1 more year! Can't argue with that draft position though
  7. Kind of what I thought. He will have strength issues in that shoulder for a year or 2 unfortunately.
  8. I keep wondering the same. Keep 4th option open for Bryant/Maker/Zimmerman
  9. My vote is we have OG and we don't have Shake. Just going on record!
  10. I'm with ya rebel. I would have loved to know how they were going to work Kasongo and Holt into the roster. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if these Lyle rumors have legs. Likely just rumors, but I've seen more surprising things.
  11. I really hope he makes it to campus. And yes, a very interesting recruiting week. Great time of year for sports fans!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Depends on the degree of the separation and which shoulder but 4-6 weeks sounds about right. One shoulder really affects the whole upper torso. Lots of torn muscles and pain when using said muscles. Generally a lacking of strength for a long period too. Not a good forecast, but again, it really boils down to what degree of separation.
  13. If we get OG on Tuesday, then Wednesday becomes pretty much anticlimactic. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  14. We may need a new starter next year :). :(
  15. I could be wrong but i think Windhorst is more or less Lebrons personal media member. He covers all things Lebron. Been that way forever. I think Lebron trusts him exclusively. I think it's a mutual relationship.
  16. I see what schoosier is spitting tbh. Kid is clearly academically challenged. Kid clearly lacks a strong parental figure. But is he really a bad kid?? He seemed to have a great year at Huntington Prep. He seemed to get along well with Lyles and Blackmon. Idk, I have mixed emotions. He could be a Hollowell type result of a kid that is skilled without the off the court skills. Or he could be a "rescued" teenager that achieves ridiculously due to talent and a chip on the shoulder. I really don't know. If it doesn't lead anywhere, I'm not upset but as a few others mentioned it is worth keeping a close eye on. Particularly if we miss Shake. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  17. SO, is he back on IU's radar for 2015?  I know everyone wants to avoid him but I wonder what the staff thinks?   My personal decision would be to avoid at all costs, just curious.   ND Kendrick has vouched for him over and over.
  18. wise guy eh?? Crean has made some wonderful choices as a Coach and some not so great decisions as a Coach. To this, we can all agree. I think it is FAIR as a FAN on a message board to discuss DECISIONS relating to the team in a fair and educated manner. To this, I have done. You sir, have steered off course into personal remarks. 19. @insidethehall: O.G. Anunoby told me last night that he plans to have a press conference in the next few weeks to announce his college decision. Sounds like an IU type commitment as of late. Morgan, RobJohnson. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  20. It's the whole revolving door argument. I frankly don't care when lesser players transfer but many do. Recruiting kids that aren't as good as your walk ons is not a solid strategy IMO. If he left schollies open/give them to walk ons, I would IMAGINE it would make recruiting easier. Plus, you get less negative recruiting from rivals. The only recruits I have "wondered" about in Crean's tenure is Etherington, April, Hartman, and Priller. I also wished we had G. Harris over Patterson, but I'm not sure Harris would have been here in any circumstances. I can explain Hartman. He peeked early, and didn't vastly improve. I can explain Etherington. He was a big piece to getting Cody. I can't explain April or Priller except they were the only Big guys willing to come to IU. Or Crean wanted a better "Bench Attitude" and recruited NICE guys who won't complain.
  21. I actually think Prillers pick and pop offense looks good on tape. I think it's the Defensive end that is my biggest concern. The reason I don't include April in my discussions is because I have nothing to judge except some insider info. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  22. That's a disservice to Howard honestly. Priller can admittedly shoot the ball. However, at the college level you can't be a defensive liability that large. It's not about his shooting or offense. It's his defense/athleticism. At this point, I am happy to watch it play out, but I would just like to know Crean's thinking from the get-go. My BIGGEST question is, why not give Ritchie or Burton a walk-on, 1 year schollie to solve the problem????? Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
  23. Great size for a wing type player with perimeter skills. If he is our backup plan for Shake, I'm perfectly fine with that. Like many others, I'd like to have an opening for my pipe dream of Maker, Bryant, or Zimmerman. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
