  1. At least the "interest" in Indiana Football is up.  QB problems largely to blame for this season.  Even Sudfield was overrated.  Kofi Hughes, Latimer, Wynn, Bolser were quite a corp.  They made him look good.  Sudfield is much better than our current options but was never top B1G talent.  We need a "star" at QB and things will change.   We are getting better talent recruiting-wise but most of that talent is 2 year talent.    I think CW needs two more seasons, and yes I know things are really bad RIGHT now but.....
  2. Maybe in 2016 we can be the Huntington Prep Hoosiers! Wouldn't be so bad. Lol.
  3. Thanks for update pap, critical information concerning the timing of that quote.
  4. Well, that certainly indicates they are in no hurry.  Not sure what else we could do, sounds like we rolled out the red carpet.
  5. I would rather not 'circle jerk' with my fellow male BTBanners. Lol. Admission denied.
  6. I could tell from Chuck Martins twitter, he treated this weekend as an extraordinarily unique recruiting weekend. And it should be. I would love to know more as well.
  7. True. Some are though. Records, ratings, results, stats etc.. There is a lot to like about Crean's Hoosiers, and some things not to like. His recruiting is one of his strengths, IMO. When his recruiting hit the proverbial wall late 2014, I grew worried. I am not totally convinced recruiting has recovered but I am happy with the additions of Juwan and OG. If he gets a true difference maker like TB, I will be fully convinced. If not, and he gets no other high 4s or 5 stars I will remain worried. I am waiting to see what he's learned about substitutions to reevaluate that. Many other factors, Crean is great ambassador for IUBB. I think he deserves at least this year. If recruiting is rolling, maybe an additional year even if this year is so-so. If recruiting stays "down" and this season is poor, than I am realist and start wondering about his timeline. I think that is fair.
  8. So true! Lol. I can fairly say both sides have good points. Thus the catch 22. And that's why I'm a realist versus a doom n gloomer or a sunshine pumper.
  9. I hate to break it to you all, but if we don't have a big time change with QB play, we won't win another game this season. THAT includes PURDUE. They are playing much better with with Appleby.
  10. I am SO happy Martin has the lead on this one. This is good news I think. I guess we will find out if Jerry Meyer is still so convinced after this weekend. TB is clearly HIGH priority for our staff. Let's see if they can get it done!
  11. This thread just shows how great our football game is today. Lol. Either way, we want Bry---ant, we want Bry---ant! I doubt he hung around for this walloping either.
  12. Whatever man, it's a cute picture. So be it. Normally WBBallers look like dudes. Not so weird.
  13. At least he'll leave knowing he is NEEDED!
  14. Between Bree and Tyra, IUWBB is upping the "team cuteness/hotness".

  18. Er...... Jay and I, rather
  19. yeah me and Jay had it out on twitter a few weeks back. About Coach K and team USA. He was dead wrong and steadfastly continued with his narrow minded views. Generally, I regard him as forward thinking and intelligent but that exchange knocked him down a few levels.
  20. In preparation for his OV........from Hoopniks 32. Thomas BRYANT Thomas Bryant (USA Basketball) Height: 6’-10” Weight: 230 Position: C Wingspan: 7’-5” High School (State): Huntington Prep (WV) Club Team (Affiliation): Team Scan (Nike) Breakdown: In the midst of an effective transition from a “prospect” to a “player” Bryant could end up as one of the most fearsome big men in a class that has a wealth of such players. Bryant has substantial size, can dominate the block at times, and has fine tuned his motor to the point where it rarely quits. Bryant’s size, combined with his athleticism, makes him an elite prospect in the class. His shooting touch is good, as well. Bryant was selected to the 2013 USA Basketball U16 team, which captured a Gold medal in the 2013 FIBA Americas tournament. He did not make the U17 team in 2014, though Hoopniks.com observed him to hold his own against any big man that was also in the camp.
  21. Let's tie this thing together.... We need OG to hurry up and get to IU so he can dominate the HYPR circuit!!! And then turn into a BA Wing and dominate the B1G.
