How can we not pass a ball to a shooter that hits them in the shooting pocket? Every pass is off target and I mean EVERY pass is off. I know we have a major issue at the guard spot, but how can we not make a simple pass! Lord have mercy, I'm not sure I want to go to the Mich St game even though I have never been to a senior night! How are we this bad at basics, how do we not run set plays for our actual shooters, why do we look lost on half of our possessions? This is rhetorical...but it has not just been under this coaching regime. Honestly, I am over ready for the Covid players to be gone. No more 5th, 6th, or 7th year players w/o some sort of redshirt, please it is time to move on and get on with life! If we have to settle for Woody returning next year, try like hell to keep MM, Ware, and MR, Cupps and Newton as well; then go to the portal and throw big bags of NIL money at 2 PGs and any proven shooters, while saying look at our post players come fix us, you will start! We are and have been a team of role players with a splash of talent for years, and this year again asking role players to be stars. In addition, shake up the coaching staff, S&C coach and at least one assistant need to go. Bring in an assistant that knows offense and a non-football S&C coach.

Absolutely no way I could coach Clark. I wouldn't have any hair left, logo 3 off the back of the rim with 23 on the shot clock! Makes me want to puke, along with all the flops!

If ifs and butts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas. I have settled that there is no chance that CMW will not be on our sideline next season, unless he surprises everyone and steps down. Am I happy, no, but definitely not in the burn it to the ground stage, yet. I would like to see some off-season moves with the staff, not sure who, but would prefer to keep Walsh as he seems to be the guy bringing the players to the table. Obviously not closing the deal, but they are at the table. I never expected us to start landing multiple 5 *s in one season but definitely expected to sprinkle some in with some solid multi year players. Is it the staff? Is it our lack of success in the last couple decades? Or is it we play in the B1G? Who knows for sure. I am also not upset about losing out on Queen, excellent player, but we need guards like 4 months ago. But what do I know and what can I change? I am just a lowly non-IU grad that only spends $600-700 a season on tickets, but I do have a big enough wardrobe of IU swag to wear a different outfit everyday. I guess that is something!

As my pUKe friend from work said after our game with Auburn, its either a buzzsaw or not with them, and it is not predictable which Auburn team will show up on any given night.

The offense was much better with Leal and Gallow running the back court. However, if Gallow doesn't play like he did tonight, it won't matter. We have to have 1 guard ball out to pair with our bigs to win games and it worked tonight. Not pretty but hey our first Quad 1 of the season!

I don't know what is worse: watching any of our backcourt players that can't shoot or watching my archery team struggle at last weekends tournament! Fortunately for the archery kids, it was mostly mental! The same cannot be said about our backcourt!

I would also include the comment about stars not caring. It is obvious the MR cares. I would even venture to say that even MM has bought in, as is evident by his demeanor on the sidelines while he struggled to stay on the floor. He wasn't sulking, he was and still does cheer on his team. I don't know about KW, but could tell with his stone cold facial expressions. You can definitely see some frustration with him, when he shakes his head after a play, but I still can't get a good impression.
