I think they're reeling to be honest. They thought things would just click with the talent on the team and ignored their obvious flaws. Pretty hilarious if you ask me. Now they're throwing crap at a wall to see if it sticks. Trading for JR was a big dry one that will NOT stick, if you will.
If Waiters accepts a "role player" role, OKC just got better by leaps and bounds. If he acts like he did at Cleveland, not so much. Cleveland added a chucker and an athlete. Not sure that they improved at all. New York is all about the future. Wouldn't be surprised to see more than a couple picks or young guys in this deal heading there.
Pretty big trade going on tonight. All these details are from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo:
NY sends JR Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland.
Cleveland sends Dion Waiters to OKC, along with 2 unnamed players to OKC or NY.
Still waiting to see what OKC gives Cleveland and/or NY.
So yeah, this shakes things up a bit.
I think Henry could end up being the best back to come out of Bama when it's all said and done. 6'3 240 with track speed. Like Eddy Lacy and Yeldon had a kid.
They're going to go to so many overtimes that the game will run into the date for the championship game. They'll declare it a tie and invite iufb to play the Oregon/FSU winner.
