  1. I'm beyond confused by your point here. (Not to mention the fact that I NEVER mentioned Hartman in my post, even though I would gladly have him start at the 3 or 4) Let's say Yogi stays, in our likely starting lineup this year we will have: Yogi, who can drive and shoot the 3. If not Yogi, probably Rob who is similar and probably better at attacking the basket based on height. Jimmy, who can drive and shoot the 3. Troy, who is very good at going to the basket and has shown a decent jumper. Holt, Perea, Hartman, the first two are primarily inside players and Hartman is admittedly one dimensional on offense, but his one dimension helped to win us a few games this year. Bryant, who is a bruiser that shocked people with his 3 point shooting ability in the past few weeks. You can't deal with ONE guy who is primarily known as a 3 point shooter (but also brings many other solid attributes to the table) in the starting lineup, but instead want to start a completely unproven 6'8ish freshman wing? Because it looks like, around him, there are already 4 pretty multi-talented offensive players.
  2. We have a .7% chance at 1st, .8% at 2nd, and 1% at 3rd.
  3. I'm actually a little bit relieved. Let's hope for a good lotto pick and reload this offseason.
  4. Seriously? He can say his strengths are whatever he wants them to be. It's whether or not he actually possesses those strengths against the competition he will face at IU (a level of competition that he has NEVER gone against). If we're saying a guy should start because HE said that he is good at certain things, then I'm not sure about the "Indiana fans have bball IQ" argument.
  5. I would like to see him on the floor without 2 of the best big guys in America with him. I wonder if he can play the bruising defensive style that Vogel likes down low.
  6. He's 6'10. I think he is an interesting prospect because he is more athletic than West, but still has the mid range game. It looks like he would be around for when we pick too.
  7. Looking like we have a good shot to get in. It's so bittersweet. We miss a lottery chance in a really nice draft, but we're in the playoffs with Atlanta (AGAIN). If we're in...might as well make some noise.
  8. Yeah they should always be good, but man it's so diluted with them being in the same division. Maybe it'll change if they both are back to regularly battling for the east but it just gets talked up so much and nothing exciting ever really happens.
  9. Does anyone outside of NY or Boston (or maybe even inside NY or Boston) truly care about Yankees/Red Sox? ESPN talks it up as the greatest rivalry since Persians vs The World but they play like 75 times a year and nothing ever happens except the 75 slowest games of the year.
  10. Absolutely. I'd much rather go there to see the Cubs. Plus it's closer. Getting to the north side is hellacious.
  11. Brb buying a Thomas Bryant jersey. @MikeMillerHT: Someone asks Thomas Bryant what he thought of the coeds at IU. "They have some real beautiful women. I'm gonna keep it real."
  12. Haha I was just messing with you. Wrigley is a frickin hole. Neighborhood is cool, history is cool, the smell of stale pee and rotting, well, everything not so cool. I'll go to Busch or Great American any day.
  13. Someone's never been to Wrigley...............
  14. Well.......you ARE home sick. Nice little project for El Capitan.
  15. They look normal to me, boss.
  16. In honor of the concert I will be attending July 4th at IMS.... http://youtu.be/SGyOaCXr8Lw http://youtu.be/HoxRFOr_sQ0 http://youtu.be/UzNxYjf_4p4
  17. Didn't someone say OG is growing still? Plus he's close to the camera, so I'm saying OG is 6'8.5, Juwan is 6'7ish and Thomas is 6'9ish. Just my take.
  18. Good point. I'm proud again.
  19. That's so frickin obvious. Those were dark days when no camps explained everything....I'm not proud.
  20. He's getting a free education at the greatest school in the country, playing ball with elite athletes daily, and sitting courtside at every IU game. For some (DEFINITELY not all), that's enough.
  21. Um...we need 1 to leave as it is now. Have any intel on that?
  22. No. They're at Maui next year. And we play them in non-con in Hawaii in 2016.
  23. CUBBBBZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!
  24. Not anymore...
  25. Alot of Cubs fans hate it and I don't know why. It's beyond catchy and cheesy and awesome. I love it.
