  1. Small town IU fan meet Indy. Indy meet small town IU fan.    I am a 27 year old, single female who up until 2 years ago watched nearly every IU basketball game with my grandma and/or dad until they both died. Living in the small town of LaGrange, I wasn't about to sit and watch every game at the one sports bar nor was I going to drive 30-45 mins to find another one so why not move to Indianapolis... with Harold the Hoosier?   Harold the Hoosier is my gnome who is found in action on game days fighting off our opponent in some way shape or form. He's made trips to Ann Arbor, East Lansing, West Lafayette and Bloomington and often looked for on social media on the days of games.   So where do the 20/30 year olds watch IU games in or around Indy? In other words - where is it safe for a 27 year old female with a gnome go to watch a game? I sure as hell didn't find a place on the west side for such demographic last season; however, it was my first year living in the city so you have to cut Harold and me some slack. We were small fish living in a big pond just a bit shy of going outside of our hula hoop.    My mission this season is to not only watch the games, but to find where the IU hot spots are to watch the games on the north, south east and west sides of Indy and not only report on them, but report on how the fans felt about the game. Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love working as the director of leasing for a senior living community, but it is in no way shape or form helping my social life.    Here's to the new adventures of Harold the Hoosier as he hits Indy this season. Hoo Hoo Hoo is Harold going to meet first?
