So does it leak later tonight that Crean is gone to Mizzou??

I'm betting he'll coach the NIT.

I'm no coach so I might be waaay off ... But wouldn't a zone help our defense be more effective in the post against Happ?

Oh my goodness how is Bryant THAT bad?

Because even at worst, we hope to hear of Crean moving on....

I'm excited at the possibility of advancing.. But I've been watching IUBB in the B1G Tourney for too many years to get my hopes up

you're right .... if i get fired, i might get a lousy 6 weeks pay .... he got paid for YEARS after .... poor guy .... i have lots of respect for him as a coach but he got fired, got paid and is still crying after 17 years .... its one of the numerous reasons for people to not like him as a man

the guy was fired for being a prick to most everyone he came across .... so many people have been fired for far less and ...... got over it! if i were fired tomorrow ... i'd be ticked but my goodness, i would like to think i'd be over it after ..... 17 YEARS!

I just can't do it...I can't root against the Hoosiers. I've heard the arguments that cheering for a loss is cheering for the best for this program... But it's just not in my blood to cheer against IU. I tried against Northwestern on senior night and I was miserable. Yes I want Crean to be gone....I want to win too. If Crean is as bad a coach as I think he is, we'll lose anyway... I'd rather see the Hoosiers win though...

I'd like to hear what his reasoning was for saying this ..... I've not seen any evidence of it, would like to know details.

I've had a couple of run ins with him here in Bloomington ... he's a GREAT guy. Took the time to talk to my kids, took pictures with them....he was very engaging to us as fans. That being said, I agree ... it's not about him as a person ... it's about the fact that more is expected at IU. If we continue down this road, in 10 years, IU will be another program that has low expectations, who has a "history" but is irrelevant. I don't want that. We're nearly there already ..... I mean, we haven't won a title in 30 years!!! I was 6 ... and have no memory of it. Our last Final 4 was 15 years ago.....Duke, UNC, Kansas, pUKe have all passed us by .... To quote another member on this board ..... "this is embarrassing, fire him!"

Let me be the jokester here... WHAT IF... These kids pull it together and play the way they're capable of playing... Bring a BTT title home from DC.... Make a small to decent run in the tournament and throughout the next couple weeks, you notice a complete change in coaching from Crean .... Ok stop laughing....I said "what if"..... I know the odds are stacked against us and I am currently on narcotic pain meds due to a recent surgery... So this could be the drugs talking... But would you want Crean back? Or can nothing, including a change in coaching style, sway you?

Man...I love watching De'Ron Davis play, but that breakaway should have been a power slam... Looked like he barely got it down! Haha

I want Crean gone as much as anyone else, but can we make sure our heads are on straight tonight and root for these kids? I tried it the other way and found myself rooting for Northwestern a couple weeks ago and it was awful being disappointed with a close exciting win. Cheer this team on tonight guys! Go Hoosiers!

I saw someone on Twitter say the hotel they were staying at for the Big Ten Tournament didn't carry the Big Ten Network .... Bring it back to the Midwest

They were left behind due to the plane accident on the runway. I'm not sure how they make it with practice jerseys and not the actual uniforms, but that's the reason. I figured since they were delayed overnight, they would have had time to get them on their next flight...

That'll change after this Michigan game
