I believe stuhoo might have been first poster on here to mention his name in a coaching hire possibility list. I thought no way they would do that. Then it happened. I had my concerns but hoped he could use is fame to get talent and that would be enough. I believe howard was doing good at michigan at the time? I forced myself to have hope we could win on a cool laid back coach and talent. Nba connections like howard and others. Turns out coaching abilities matters. From now on anyone who says well he can't shoot for them or he didn't do that is full of it. It all starts in preparation for the season. The funny thing is this program isn't being run like it was back in their day. Infact it isn't even close. Their teams were prepared and aimed at perfection. Discipline was a priority. We have none of that. Toughness was a priority in their day like good teams have today. The offense and defense has changed with the three point line and shot clock times. Woodson should be gone after the season or before. To get another year he would need a big ten championship or a elite 8. We fired crean for not getting past sweet 16 so woodson is done even if he makes the tournament. I believe we won't get close to making the tournament.
