  1. Yeh. Sparty buzzkill lol
  2. Some things there just really rub me the wrong way, like right in the middle of that grueling stretch of the schedule when IU was playing a game every few days the site went two full days without a story from any of their writers. I mentioned that in a comment there, and got banned immediately, right after the comment section yes boys there shouted me down for pointing it out. That is too frail.
  3. He is not even a fan. He has been bragging big about that in all the regional business rags lately for some reason. I would not be surprised to see that site sold in the near future. Or some kinda big change soon. He is up to something. Not sure what tho yet.
  4. w/o the explanation I was going to post 'I smell a rat' and just sit back and wait for the bloodthirsty shrieking for my head to begin. I know nothing about that program.
  5. should be an interesting enough sideshow, for them, and for us.
  6. I prefer Sanpson's tough athletic dribble drive w/ motion elements up the teeth to Beilein's spread m out finesse m outside to the corner drbl dr on o.
  7. lol that happens, but it just seemed to almost always happen when crean was here. And I always hated that Beilein offense. You must hste that game too, right?
  8. He is a good coach, and he has success too. He just seems to coach so many of the things I hate into the game. He spaces the floor really well. That's good (side note: that's what kills the packline d dead. hopefully Archie is game planning for that. duh.) But so much of almost all of that is just so iso-centric I can't watch that sh@t. Nearly every play on offense comes off spacing and iso. Crean owned that sh@t. I hope Archie can too. Adapt that pack-line d to accommodate Michigan's Beilein 4-in/1-out.
  9. Count me officially always 4-ever not-on-the-UM/Beilein-fan(boy)-bandwagon. Plz do not take that personally if you are tho. Not a fan of the 4-out 1-in offense. Not fun to watch. Your old whipping-boy Crean owned that sh@t on d. Yes I said he owned that sh@t on d. Crean on d. Check it. Now u still like that offense? Not a fan of the B- D either. I hope the Houston Sampsons win this game. In a blowout.
  10. Dont feel bad for them. This is a good thing for Georgia basketball. Georgia has made one Elite 8 in their basketball history. Crean has been able to recruit on a national level and get guys to the NBA. If he can continue to do that at Georgia, then everybody wins.
  11. Yeh coz anchors only gonna hold u down 4 a year bro! Keep sharin tha dream w/u/real tru home folk 4 life! Ask Cody.
  12. OMG I just now 'got it' w/the Diet Coke and Dasani lol. Crean was getting paid for product placement, he11 yeh! That is probably the one thing I admire most about the man, his ability to get paid. That is what a man is supposed to do in this world. Don't hate the man for playin that game well. Learn from him. Milk it. Milk it til it's dry!
  13. Not going to let it define him or this team. Well done.
  14. I just wish we did not have to see Bruce Weber squawking and pacing all over the court the next time we watch the Retrievers of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Wow that name is long.
  15. That may be true, but Virginia's offense is what is killing them tonight.
  16. Hey thx. He looks strong like a Big Ten big. Looking forward to watching him play hopefully 4 years if that is good for him too.
  17. We just need to stop worrying about what the other programs are doing, and start taking care of our own business imo. In the meantime, it is not wrong to watch a good team from Indiana, or anywhere for that matter, play a good game of basketball in the tourney. That Davidson/KY game was torture yesterday. No strategy. Just dribble drive on both sides, contested 3s all game long. I wanted to watch Kentucky lose, and that is the only reason I kept flipping back to it, and more torturous basketball. Ugh. It made me tired watching it.
  18. I know a lot of people say we are not supposed to like Butler anymore, but I really like watching them play basketball. And just as I post that, they look tired, and make 4 mistakes in the next 5 possessions lol. Not all the mistakes bite them in the @$$ tho. Butler must lack depth this year coz no substitutions. BUT 79 ARK 62 I've decided I still like Butler.
  19. Any of you guys who watch some of the practices down in btown got a good feel for race's development? Do you think he is going to be a solid contributor from jump st in the coming year? Thats the ? I need answered going into this offseason. Somebody(s) plz help answer with what youve got. Thx much. He definitely looks the part from where I sit many miles away from bloomington.
  20. Loyola's mascot used to be a homeless guy. No lie. Bo the hobo. Until they had to stop. U know becoz outcry lol
  21. One of the things I admire most about the man. At the end of the day, how many things are more important than getting paid? Think of all the people you know getting paid less than they deserve. And I bet you this. If any one of those people you know getting paid less than what they are worth asked Tom Crean what they should do to get what they deserve, he would probably take the time to give a solid detailed answer, and steer them in the right direction. That's so Crean.
  22. Well, whaddya know? Major Upset Alert. 13 BUF over 4 AZ lol. Could be anything. But also could be a "hmmm..." And now there goes State. Buh-bye. Doesn't prove anything, but teams rolling in the mud at tourney time seem to go down in just about every sport. I tend to think that is at least partly influenced by each sport's interest in marketing the brand.
  23. Pretty sure my very old mother's ladies' bunco group dominates that facebook page.
  24. Glad to know he landed on his feet. Also glad to know he didn't just milk the buyout. Absolutely intend to follow his career ex post IU, and wish him a ton of success. Sincerely hope he can learn to teach his students how to play defense, and how to play offense in the half court, and how to beat a zone. Optimistically in the old dogs can learn new tricks camp. Thanks for the good times, and thanks for the memories! Nice to have a coach leave without trying to kick us all in the teeth every chance he gets now that the best times together are over. More of a man in many ways than the supposed greatest.
  25. Is that what it looks like when you get demoted from the day shift at the Mafia to the night shift?
