  1. The NCAA didn’t do much to Louisville, but they are still getting what they deserve. good to see.
  2. Believe it’s way too early to say JG shouldn’t get minutes. He had a bad game and will have to figure out his role, but he has ability. He really came on in the postseason, was a huge reason we came back against Michigan. I mean nobody looked as bad as Xavier but not gonna give up on him because of an exhibition.
  3. Geronimo was in for like 2 minutes and picked up 2 fouls dont know about banks, bet we see him next half
  4. C’mon that’s an overreaction! It’s an exhibition!! Jk uisrite
  5. The two 5* freshmen look like 5* so far
  6. Lol. Gonzaga will still win 30 games in the regular season just to lose like this in the tournament. Rinse and repeat
  7. Well this worked. too bad it was for the wrong Kyle
  8. Let’s go Kyle
  9. I am tired of that question for him. Maybe it’s just me but it feels like a backhanded way of asking him if he has learned how to coach basketball
  10. Agreed. I love Woody, but my biggest gripe was his rotations. And honestly, the Race and Trayce issue is not really his fault, just a matter of dealing with poor roster construction from the previous coach. I too, am stoked for this season.
  11. I care about both honestly, I have never really agreed with not caring who starts. You can't dig yourself a hole from the start and we did that a lot with starting (PS, MK, and RT). And again, Race came in and played next to TJD. He hardly ever came in at the 5 to spell him.
  12. I am a huge Jordan Geronimo fan. Not as big of a Race Thompson fan because of his lack of fit next to TJD. Just feel it gives our team a ceiling. I think Race is an awesome leader and rep of this team, so I am certainly glad he is on it. I just would rather see Race come off the bench for minutes at the 5 and start someone at the 4 with the ability to play on the perimeter and make more athletic plays. He tends to get lost on defense when he isn't guarding his man 1-1 in the post. I know that will not happen though so it is just wishful thinking.
  13. That's why this season is so important going forward. Woody can really get it rolling with a successful season on the court that he can pitch to these kids. And if TJD and/or JHS are in the NBA next season we will be getting more than just official visits from these players.
  14. Full replay of IU's last win last season to get you pumped. First I have seen of this being released as there is normally just a 6ish minute replay from the NCAA.
  15. He even airballed a free throw. Ugh
  16. Steve Forbes is a really good coach. Holtmann is…. Meh And that is not at all based off of this secret scrimmage
  17. ESPN's preview of the big ten: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/34845769/big-ten-2022-23-conference-preview-league-national-title-drought-end
  18. You would be correct.
  19. the real question is not who has a red jersey on, but who has the GOLD jersey? ;)
  20. Kinda glad IU did some exhibition games this year rather than the secret scrimmage. Other than having to pay for btn+, it gets the guys in assembly hall for a game with a crowd before it really matters.
  21. Bart is much lower on OSU than others. They are 32nd on Kenpom I am in agreement with Bart on Michigan though. Lost 4 starters and the backup PG. Not sure their additions make up for much of that loss
  22. Secret Scrimmages have started, exhibitions have started. We are two weeks away from ACTUAL games starting. I am a huge big ten basketball junky, and love to read/follow the other teams throughout the offseason and during the season. It seems to be a down year in comparison to the past few, but honestly that probably means the league will have more success come March as it has been underwhelming the past few years. My predictions: 1. Illinois 2. Indiana 3. Iowa 4. Purdue 5. MSU 6. Ohio State 7. Wisconsin 8. Michigan 9. Rutgers 10. Maryland 11. Penn State 12. Northwestern 13. Minnesota 14. Nebraska I am very hopeful this season as an IU fan, I just need to see the team shoot better to become a believer. I also think the schedule is really tough for our Hoosiers in comparison to the other contenders in the league. I don't know what to think of Illinois, but they have talent and their conference schedule is cake. I am not as high on Michigan as most, their guard play is very questionable and they lost a majority of their team that finished 8th last year. I don't like Purdue's team either, but Painter has the big ten figured out and this seems like a Purdue team that will somehow find 12 wins. It will also be interesting to see how MSU does with 10 scholarship players.
