  11. A cheap whiskey (along with a good one) also does the trick here in my house where it's 68! Lol!
  12. Mackenzie Holmes has procedure on knee, may miss remainder of regular season January 20, 2022 Mike Schumann Indiana will be without leading scorer Mackenzie Holmes for an extended period, perhaps through the end of the regular season and beyond. The IU women’s basketball program released a statement on Thursday afternoon indicating Holmes had a procedure on her knee today. “Junior forward Mackenzie Holmes underwent a successful procedure on her knee on Thursday. She will immediately begin rehab,” IU said in the release. In an interview on the Big Ten Network yesterday, head coach Teri Moren described the timeline for a possible return by Holmes this season. “I do think that there’s hope that we’ll see Mack back on the floor,” Moren told Revsine on Wednesday. “I don’t know how quickly. I don’t have a timeline right now for you guys. But we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we do see her back, whether it’s the end of February, beginning of March, and certainly the postseason. “She’s a big part of what we do and we’ve missed her tremendously.” Moren’s remarks to Revsine were before the knee procedure. Holmes leads Indiana with 17.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. She is also the team leader in blocks with 26 and field goal percentage (61.5 percent). Indiana is on an extended absence due to COVID-19 protocols within the program. Off to their best start ever in the Big Ten with a 6-0 record, the Hoosiers return to action on Jan. 27 against Illinois in Bloomington.
