Successful colostomy insertion but they found some other issues during the surgery that they will address later but nothing else today.

What's really helpful is that my brother in law's father is a Neonatologist who has seen everything under the sun with premature babies.

Plan in the morning is a 6:00 X-Ray and then sometime later they will insert a colostomy bag into his belly to help him poop. I'm told she will get to go home on Wednesday. Coop will be in the NICU after he is done and hopefully can develop. I'll have more news tomorrow.

From my mom earlier this morning: Maggie's water broke and then she delivered last night at 27 weeks. Baby is stable and the heart conditions are what we thought. Nothing worse. Some good points: vitals are good, blood gases good, good flow of blood and oxygen, lungs look good. He needs to grow in the NICU for probably 2-3 months. Maggie had C Section and is fine. He has what is known as DORV with a sub aortic ventricular septal defect.

So far so good his vitals are normal don't know what unit he is currently in. Don't know how long they plan on keeping either one of them. Will hopefully have more updates as things progress. Couldn't get her to change the name even if I wanted to. Cooper was my dad's idea I had a better one. Just once I want to name just one baby.

Please pray for my younger sister. Christmas Eve she started to have contractions they admitted to Riley in Indy gave her medicine to stop the contractions was fine when I saw her on Christmas Day. The medicine wore off and her water broke early this morning had a C section she is fine. No word on the baby yet has a heart condition called ventricular septal defect. The name of the baby is Cooper she had it picked out for awhile. She was originally due in March.

Last I saw was a 59% chance of rain.

The Last Dance is so good you could tell when they interviewed Isiah he was still bitter.

Once again my parents failed. Merry Christmas everybody.
