  1. No doubt! Unfortunately bc he sent the game into OT.......this guy lost out on $5 on FanDuel.
  2. Yogi > Ulis Blackmon < Briscoe Troy > Mathews Hartman < Poythress Hanner < Skal Rob > Hawkins Holt > Willis The rest of IU roster > UK walk-ons I can understand where UK could be better but I'm not sold that this mixture of guys will work out this year. Extremely young and a couple of the incoming guys are very raw. IU brings back experience and talent. TB fills a need for an IU team that could be way better than last year with a quality big man. At UK he is added to a mix of guys that may only confuse things more as they have to figure it all out. With IU it is already figured out, they need size (he brings that), need toughness (he brings that), defense (he brings that). He's the missing link to a team that was a quality big man away from being a very good team. I can see both sides of the argument, but I am definitely more sold on the IU side than I am UK.
  3. Watch it again. That was not a natural basketball play. Put about everything he had into it.
  4. It wasn't quite a punch but more a karate chop. Definitely more than a slap. Should have resulted in an ejection by rule.
  5. Change that FT lineup to: Yogi 86% JBJ 80% Z 76% Troy 74% TB Looked good in the HS nat'l tourney.
  6. Love the way he passes out of the post. Has good vision and his passes are crisp.
  7. Thomas Bryant will make a bigger impact than Thon Maker. It's been reported that Thon is more raw than what his highlights show. Thomas is more physically ready at this point and will be next season. Now as for Thon, just bc I don't think he will be as impactful immediately, that doesn't change the fact that he probably has more potential than anyone ever. Also the supporting cast around Zeller might have had better basketball IQs, but idk that you can say they're better. If Thomas were to come in next year the talent level around him would be higher than that around Zeller.
  8. They lose 3 each year, so that would put them at 10.
  9. He is playing in the national hs tourney this weekend. Is supposed to announce sometime after that.
  10. Then what the hell is he waiting on?
  11. Adding muscle shouldn't be an issue. You knock Cody over by breathing on him hard when he finished hs, then by Hoosier Hysteria he was an easy 20-30 lbs bigger.
  12. Actually we were probably missing one key piece from last year. I thought about not giving a name bc I'm sure you all know who I'm talking about anyways, but I'll go ahead and say Jeremy Hollowell was the guy that single handedly held last years defense together and that is why it was so bad this year. I think that's pretty obvious.
  13. Every one of his tweets are interesting lol some good stuff.
  14. I thought they had to get down to 10 bc they lose 3 each year right?
  15. [attachment=1753:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1425104411.111273.jpg]
  16. Westbrook just had a dent in the side of his face after taking a knee.
  17. Players get cut for more reasons than just not being good enough.
  18. Watched some of Wisconsin's exhibition game earlier and Nigel Hayes looked damn good. Hit a 3 and looked quick when he put it on the floor. Facing him the next 3 years is going to be rough. Don't like Wiscy but you have to respect what they do and how they do it.
  19. They have at least 11 scholarship players, none of which are seniors, and 4 commits already for next season.
  20. You reread your comparison bc it says "instead of having a senior Remy we have a freshman Remy..." Not sure what I had wrong here. The reason many disagree is bc you can't let anyone post something of their opinion without telling them yours, which you always seem to think is the absolute truth.
  21. You keep on drinking your own kool aid. Not sure how good you thought Remy was, but a freshman Remy is no where near the comparison of a freshman Rob, and I will confidently say that without seeing Rob play a game yet.
  22. Don't hold me to this, but I thought he said he would commit at any time he just won't sign until the spring.
  23. Had the chance to speak to Coach Martin right as they were bringing TB into the game and he said the visit was "going really really well." Coach Martin seems like an extremely likable guy, so I'd imagine any recruit that he is assigned to will give IU a close look.
