They have at least 11 scholarship players, none of which are seniors, and 4 commits already for next season.

Starting Lineup Predictions
HoosierD replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I would go with Yogi, JBJ, Z, Troy, and Hanner. Z gives you that leadership and experience to start a game. Stan and Rob end up playing more minutes bc they are better players. Depending on who you are replacing and what you need in a particular game decides who comes into the game first. I would be fine with any of the 3 of Z, Rob and Stan starting. -
Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

You reread your comparison bc it says "instead of having a senior Remy we have a freshman Remy..." Not sure what I had wrong here. The reason many disagree is bc you can't let anyone post something of their opinion without telling them yours, which you always seem to think is the absolute truth. -
Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

You keep on drinking your own kool aid. Not sure how good you thought Remy was, but a freshman Remy is no where near the comparison of a freshman Rob, and I will confidently say that without seeing Rob play a game yet. -
6'4" Guard Nick Zeisloft joins Hoosiers
HoosierD replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
He was lighting up Stan and Z, got locked down by Yogi. But I 100% agree with the second part, you can't key on just 1 of the 2 bc the other will go off. If I was game planning I would be trying to lock Yogi up bc he will impact the game more than JBJ but he could go off at any time. -
(2016) SG Rawle Alkins to Arizona

Same build and similar game as Lance Stephenson, except his head is on his shoulders instead of up his.......and he can shoot better. -
Hoosier Hysteria---3 Point Contest
HoosierD replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I wouldn't change anything bc I thought his hands looked good and the ball comes out smooth and has good arch. I don't know that he will ever have problems getting his shot off but he will never be good in a 3 pt competition. -
Dunk Contest at Hoosiers Hysteria
HoosierD replied to hothoosiersmom5's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
In a positive way I can't wait for him to be put in his place when B1G season rolls around. I think he'll look good in pre-conference games and be way too cocky, but then really quick in conference play realize he isn't strong enough or quite skilled enough. Hopefully it pushes him to work harder and prepare himself to be able to produce by the end of the season. -
Don't hold me to this, but I thought he said he would commit at any time he just won't sign until the spring.
-
I'll be there but idk exactly what time. 11 at the latest I hope.
-
Think he's already on there.

Dude. How?

(2016) PG Kyle Guy to Virginia
HoosierD replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Glad it happened sooner rather than later. If the interest just wasn't there, than its good we didn't hang around when we could be focusing in on Rawle or Gordon. -
(2016) PG Kyle Guy to Virginia

Committed to Virginia... -
Had the chance to speak to Coach Martin right as they were bringing TB into the game and he said the visit was "going really really well." Coach Martin seems like an extremely likable guy, so I'd imagine any recruit that he is assigned to will give IU a close look.
-
If I had to guess its because they're closer in age.
-
Lol yea they came through in the clutch!
-
Seems like all recruiting news is strange lol. Recruiting is definitely one of the most entertaining things to follow.
-
But there are no "recruits" on the team, they are called scholarship players now. Unless he would just give someone the boot, it's just not possible at semester break.
-
Well we couldn't bring him in at semester break so no worries there.
-
Yea Egwu has definitely proven himself more than our bigs and they may have a little more size, but I'm not sold that they are better than us and I can't stand losing to them either. Especially the ways we have lost to them in recent years.
-
I'm with you. Especially if Shake goes elsewhere. I think having Blackmon around would help keep him in line. I would still prefer not have him tho.
-
Tate should be pretty good too. If they had to pick a position to lose a guy, one of their guards was probably the choice. They've got plenty.
-
Does Nunn play PG or SG? He will be a stud eventually and I'm thinking he had some PT at the 1 last year.

Thought the same thing.
