With most of your core being used to not really winning at a high level you have to shake things up. It's extremely easy to back off a bit rather than turning the screws. I'm obviously not in the locker room or on the practice court but that's what it appears to be. Sometimes those coaches who really shake things up early in their tenure get better results. That doesn't seem to be in the cards for Woody.

Definitely this, whatever injury Race suffered hopefully he recovers fully and quickly.

Offensive coordinator not against a zone? We could do worse.

Woody is a leader of young men that respect him. I'm not sure they know or are willing to compete for him though.

We have enough home games and some games against some bad Big 1.o teams. We did enough in the noncon to get in with a ~.500 conference record.

You would think we would have some controls in place to avoid mind blowing idiotic decisions but here we are

Can we talk about those things we did poorly against the cupcakes, got us owned by better teams, and now is costing winnable conference games yet? This game was there for the taking. Not sure we get a better situation heading into a Big 1.o game this season. We are who we thought we are. Win enough games to get into the tourney and maybe win a game so we don't have to make too many excuses.

Maybe get TJD moving on that last possession. We did know they weren't going to let us get a pass into him right or that wasn't on the scouting report?

Feels like this is a rather important part of the season. We can make excuses for the loss or overcome adversity to springboard our season.

Listening to the commentators make excuses for the absolutely atrocious Big 1.o officiating all game is hilarious.

We're standing a lot on offense again.

TJD has been in the conference long enough to know he won't get calls around the bucket coming down the stretch. He has to go up strong the rest of the way.

He should fix it. There are some players that can help and get back but several that shouldn't be helping more than a few steps.

On the season, we do foul quite a bit. Is this okay to say now, too?

Unfortunately I have too much experience with it. I don't know the diagnosis but watching him move it seems there isn't as much pain when he has a task right in front of him.

Like when he was actually down defending Murray or dunking/blocking? He seems to be doing a lot better when he's balling and not thinking about his back.
