  1. Nothing too special. All 3 stars between 188-222 Status Dontarius JamesAndrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) PF 6-7 215 0.8955 188 45 5 Signed Keonte KennedyWestlake (Austin, TX) SG 6-4 175 0.8925 197 44 15 Signed Jake WalterCovington Catholic (Alexandria, KY) C 7-0 270 0.8864 222 19 1 Signed
  2. So he had 5 post season births and went 0-2 in NCAA and 1-3 in NIT? Very likely he'll surpass that.
  3. Wasn't his high water mark 2 first round losses?
  4. You might be right, but his 3 sweet 16 at IU in 5 years is 1 more than Georgia has amassed in school history. The "poorly" he had here would be a huge program upgrade there.
  5. I'm of the belief that saying nothing would have been the best bet. You're right; the only 2 options are very crappy or the real deal. I can't believe the vitriol of grown men against someone who never actually did anything against their favorite team. He's gone, she's gone, your dog is gone, your high school football career is gone. Get over it. Never once did I say he was great or infer that he was great. But, for Georgia, he'll prob be comparatively great.
  6. They didn't hire him because he made a final 4 with Marquette.
  7. Fluke final four is probably what Kentucky is about to have, yet you'll give Cal credit...
  8. The coach they've had the last 9 years made it all the way to 2 1st round defeats. Crean will exceed that by a mile.
  9. Good darn thing they didn't hire Tony Bennett, would have really sucked for Georgia.
  10. 1, Crean reached a final 4 with his own players, not, Bobby Knights, Lute Olsen's, Jim Calhoun's or Matt Doughety's. 2. How can his ceiling be sweet 16, when he has a final 4?
  11. Of course it is, I have faith we'll get to a sweet 16 with Archie.
  12. If it's true, then won't they figure it out themselves? You sound like a jilted ex.
  13. Wow. Whomever takes that job could come into a fCTC -like 1st roster. I'm sure some of them might let a new coach re-sell them though. I'm sure Pitt just lost a lot of their bargaining power in their coaches search. A fair roster is a lot better than a bare roster.
  14. Record is close, but best Fox got was 2 first round defeats. I think 3 sweet 16's in 5 seasons would be enough to keep Crean around.
  15. https://www.dawgnation.com/mens-basketball/mark-fox-colorado-state-georgia-basketball Looks like he could land in Fort Collins
  16. I was about to say that might be a great call, but I can't really imagine any schools with pedigree, even if newfound, taking Miller until some of this FBI junk gets sorted out.
  17. fCTC was 166-135 and I believe 18-16 in final season. Pretty comparable.
  18. I could handle a couple of 6'6" shooting guards next year; one a grad transfer senior and one a true freshman.
  19. Would have been hard to find a more Anti-IU guy at the time.
  20. I think we project a lot of our on disgruntled-ness on what we think individual players might do.
  21. When did he commit? UNC freshman in 2002 and Davis became coach in 2000?
  22. Do you really think more than 2 or 3 random dudes shouted something positive about Purdouche at one of his games?
  23. I guess we'll have to see if the scummy Louisville kids stay there or if they have to start over with a 2-man roster. Our F's transferred or were shown the door
  24. Uconn recently has had a run similar to Indiana '76-87' Doesn't Syracuse situation prove my point, not yours? That the situation that Tom Crean walked into is unprecedented. Unless things really get way worse, whomever takes over at Syracuse will walk into a better day 1 roster and situation. Indiana had 19 f's because we actually do grade basketball players.
