Our euphoria came down.

We're Jonesing for more Romeo news. We've gotten used to our habit being fed every day or so with our refresh highs. Since the euphoria surrounding the announcement of the 30th and 007's confidence has started to come down we're just wanting an occasional hit to keep us going until nearer announcement day.

I may be wrong, but I don't think people were worried that a BS visit from KansASS meant that KansASS was the choice, rather that Indiana was the choice and BS visiting could muck things up for us.

I can't imagine for 1 second that anyone in this scenario would have the audacity to set up a public announcement and then shun 99% of the people there. If he's not going to IU, it would only make sense for a private, intimate group of friends and family.

ESPN's Jeff Borzello wrote about Langford some in an Insider article two days ago, saying KU is making a late push even if Indiana is still considered the leader. To address the second Twitter question above: No, I don't believe the KU-FBI situation should affect Langford's recruitment. Our Sam Mellinger wrote a good story on the topic earlier this week, and as he mentioned, nothing from the FBI has linked KU's coaching staff or program to having knowledge of the payments made by Adidas' Jim Gatto to KU players. A weird radio interview from Keelon Lawson this week (that I'm sure he wishes he wouldn't have done) might have raised the attention of people who haven't followed the situation closely, but for Langford, I wouldn't think the latest FBI findings would affect his thoughts on KU.

Someone may have "popped off" that he was gone because we fired Crean or something. We look at it as though Archie sold only Hartman, Smith, Durham and Moore on sticking with Indiana, but he may have had to sell more players.

Yeah you're right. Our only rivals are UCLA, pUKe, UNC, Duke and Uconn. Another title or 2 and Kansas will be right there.

That's the thing, sometimes the mid-high 4 star is a much better fit, much better choice than some 5 stars. Sometimes the Victor Oladipo traits on a 3 star are better than the Jeremy Hollowell traits on a 4 star.

With Romeo our 2018-'19 season ceiling goes Way up!

I don't think there's much to gain by leaving and much to lose by staying, but by staying there's potential to make a much larger payday next year.
