Uh, is the number of Crean's Sweet 16's accurate? We just had back to back Sweet 16's and he had one at Marquette with Dwayne Wade, right? So that's 3. BTW, started typing Tom Crean in Google and the fourth autofill option was "Tom Crean Kissing Son".

I can't believe Natty hadn't bumped this today!

Nope. It doesn't take too much emotional posting just to crap it up for everybody.

Yeah, I know. Blind cheering has its place, but in the grand scheme if you have any perception, there are always faults. Recognizing and discussing those faults is part of why we are here. Some people just want to enjoy the game, and staying positive all the time allows them to do that. Some people want to analyze the game, and breaking it down is part of what they enjoy. On a bigger level, the whole season and the state of the program breaks down the same way for both sides. Personally, I have never been much for blind cheering. I have a critical eye. I understand that perfection is not a option, but I don't like settling for mediocrity. The title of this thread is such that anyone choosing to participate should come in with an understanding of whats being discussed, and castigating those who are participating in the discussion serves no purpose here. Any discussion that involves CTC and his coaching is a polarizing issue, and everyone would be best served to focus on making useful arguments for their case, than in allowing themselves to either take things to personal, or make things personal. So yes, I have no problem with your point.

I think you are both wrong, and enough of the pissing match.

To understand strategy and scheme, I agree, no experience is necessary. Where I would say that experience would count, is understanding how all the best schemes and strategies tend to be disrupted if the other team is talented and well coached. I think fans tend to look at it as so cut and dried simple, and never really understand that. Its kind of like looking at a battle and knowing the plan that the general has put together, and never understanding why it didn't go as planned. The rule in battle is that the plan is only good until the battle is engaged, after that its a matter of continual adjustment, recognizing strengths and weakness and using them to your advantage. That's called in-game coaching.

Internet isn't the only place I'm hearing it. Not hearing a lot that think he should be fired at this point, but I would say plenty of fans I talk to are seeing him on the hot seat.
-
Pretty close. Sheehey should have more minutes in his 4 years there. Gordon probably has more minutes in college, but not with this team.
-
May be, but regardless of who is the better coach, I'd never trade.

Lifelong Cubs fan here. Whats your point?

Hmmm.....sorry, didn't know that was a perk. In that light, you all carry on and me and the general will fix the links.

Interesting, but every time I try it, it don't work. :cheese:

If posting a youtube video, you can embed the video here simply by adding this URL code: htp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v= add the t back in on the http. In the youtube URL take the individual video code, which is 11 letters/numbers/symbols long and shows up right after the v=. paste that in after the player code. You don't have to enter this as a link with this, just put it directly in the reply box. To embed a player from Rhapsody, hit More Reply Options right below the reply box at the bottom of this page. When the enhanced reply box loads, go to the left of the reply box and check the Enable HTML box. The go to the Rhapsody page and look to the left of the song title you wish to post. There is a box with a plus sign in it, placing the cursor over the box will popup "More Options". Click on this and a box will popup with five icons at the bottom. The last one is the html code for the embedded player. Click on it and a box will popup with the code. Cut and paste that code directly into the reply box here. Hit post. Just trying to make it a bit easier viewing here. This may be harder if you are trying to do this for a mobile device, and if such, it can be edited later.

HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Exactly. It might be a bit rocky the first few games, but if he is any good, it will make the difference in playing 12 or 13. -

(2014) DE Jabril Frazier

While he had a official scheduled, IIRC, that official was canceled by IU. Was that the end? I don't know, but we'll see. -

After four years at IU, they will no longer talk about QB's getting sacked, it will be that the QB got Gooched! -
(2014) DE Willie Yarbary to Wake Forest
HoosierReb01 replied to JSHoosier's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
McCrary(?) who visited last weekend is kind of a hybrid DE/LB that is expected to fit the 3-4 pretty well. Not sure of any others at the moment, but I would be surprised if the coaching staff wasn't keeping tabs on a guy or two. -
(2014) S Christian Campbell to PSU
HoosierReb01 replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Yeah, just seen a tweet from him though, looks like the recruitment goes back to Franklin's time at Vandy, so there was a long relationship there. Not completely out of left field. Edit: Cause the General is being a **** and making this post redundant, lol. -

If I got it right the offer and the commit are both very recent.
