  11. Rose to meet w/the MLB...   http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13737640/pete-rose-meets-mlb-decision-reinstatement-end-year   Doesn't sound like a promising outcome for Pete, but the conversation is a step forward.  It's unfortunate as I don't see him being let back in.  Ah well, he did the crime...
  12. Good call! I always use the second posted score. Some will post twice forgetting they made one early in the week.
  13. The defender appeared to be lowering his shoulder before Kiel committed to sliding. Didn't look dirty to me.
  14. Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Tevin Coleman looks like he will be able to play sooner than expected despite a fractured rib. Since Coleman's rib is not displaced, it's not a threat to puncture his lung. The only real concern for the rookie is whether he can deal with the pain. According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the team has several options for reducing Coleman's pain as he continues to heal over the next four to six weeks. If Coleman can tolerate the pain and breathe without limitation, he should be able to return before his rib is completely healed. In the meantime, Devonta Freeman will move back into the starting role for the Falcons. Freeman has struggled in a backup role this season, and he isn't likely to have a breakout performance this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys' dominant run defense.
  15. Or Delaware.  Philly says they are carrying it, but I've got BYU/Michigan on my dial.  :(
  16.   I get it, 150%.  Just saying that every cable I have (aside from what came w/a component) is a $6-$8 monoprice special and they haven't failed me once.  Again, just my own experience...to each their own at the end of the day, right?
  17. If I skipped the even/odds, I'd only have 3 picks!  lol
  18.   I disagree.  the $6-$8 HDMI cables from monoprice are just as nice as the $50-$60 at best buy.
  19.   It's a Lenovo, a lot of Lenovo's don't have them.  It was an oversight by myself when I bought it...it's one of those options I thought everyone laptop had and didn't even look.  Oh well.  Solid laptop.  Built like a tank.  Will buy another one when this dies.
  20. True. If your laptop has a HDMI port. :(
  21. I was afraid I was going to be forced to watch this on my laptop.  Then I remember.  Amazon Firestick!  I forgot I had a firestick!  It has the ESPN3 app.  I checked it out tonight and WOO WOO!  I'll be watching on my TV!  Thank goodness!!!!
  22. Duh that makes more sense! Duh! Lol
