Carp's agent told the Boston Globe yesterday that he will retire this winter. Said Carp has basically comeback from five career ending surgeries, six was one too many. Mo has already said there's a job for him in the FO if he wants it. I think he'll take some time off to be with the family then show back up in a year or two as a "special asst." type role. Just my guess... He lives in St. Louis so I wouldn't be surprised if he hangs around quite a bit regardless of job status.  

Just watched it because I was traveling last night from back home.
 
Anyway, some quick thoughts:
 
- The pig and Patrick have to be some sort of symbolism to come.
- Great job emphasizing where Rick almost went mentally with the lady in the woods.
- the new guy (army medic) will be playing an important role, either good or bad.
- This episode was good in terms of setting up the episodes to come. Beth's calendar of accident days IMO was a foreshadow for this season.
- I heard rumors the governor will be back early this season, but I don't know if it will happen. N
 
Next week is going to be INSANE!

Who's ready for the new season???  I know I am.  I can't wait, the new trailor for it got me even more excited!

Even the Dodgers have said they want to be like the Cards. They just couldn't wait to make it happen so they went for instant gratification mega money spending to begin with.

Love the Cards way of doing things.

That's awesome! I got the chance ok walk with his group during the BMW Championship in Indy. It was an awesome experience and he's a great guy.

That Carlos Beltran guy is pretty good. Always great to start off with a 1-0 series lead. Glad to pull out the tough win.
