After letting the game settle and give it some overall perspective, this team is definitely trending in the right direction. There hasn’t been a collapse like last season, and while there are still a lot of errors to correct, its way better than last season. Now, I’m worried about this coming week to some degree. If IU takes this loss to heart and wants to correct itself, I say we split these two games. However, I do have some slight worry it could go the other way and we get blown out both games. It could go either way, but I like the way this team is projecting. This team has a lot of fight, and we are playing some pretty good basketball right now! I might be pretty negative in our game against PSU, but overall I’m happy with this team. IU has a chance to get to 20-21 wins if we win out at home and sneak one on the road. It’s the same as last year..... Archie likes to hold the ball too long with no offense. I get holding the ball, this is year 2 that’s it’s really hurt us. Run the offense and only settle on close looks until it gets closer to shot clock. Sucks to see us screw this game away and then have two games on the road. Maryland fouled a ton and the refs would never call it. I won’t blame the refs for this loss because IU did choke, but this was probably the most one-sides ref job I’ve seen in a very long time! Not much you can do when a team is unconscious from deep, geez. I know we left them open some but there’s not much you can do about this. IU has had a good overall performance. Only thing that stinks is we can’t buy a bucket in close. Joey can’t hit and neither can Justin around the basket.
