  11. Agree. I was scoping out the link that LI provided to and then seen all the others chimed in. Seems legit. I'm sure we will hear something soon.   Meanwhile, we are gonna beef up LI's thread since Natty stole his Baseball one and we fell completely apart after that.
  12. Will do. I'll add his profile/stat link to the first post.
  13. Thanks LI. Guess it's not quite official yet.   @DustinDopirak: So false alarm there on Sheehey, apparently. Source close to him said he has NOT signed a contract with anyone yet.
  14. Steve Wiltfong ‏@SWiltfong247 The #Illini are in the driver's seat for Ohio LB Chris Green heading into Sunday's visit to #IUFB: http://illinois.247sports.com/Article/Illini-Lead-For-Ohio-Linebacker-Chris-Green-29973514 … #Illinois   Illinois could soon land a linebacker pledge from Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic linebacker Chris Green, who spent his Monday visiting Champaign for the first time. The 6-foot, 226-pound Green tells 247Sports his decision, which is expected in the near future, will come down to the Illini and Indiana. Green added that Illinois is the current team to beat.   Rated by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 26 inside linebacker, Green will visit Indiana on Sunday.   “Coach (William) Inge Facebooked me and told me he wants me to get out there and that he has a spot for me, and I’m going to check it out and see how I like it and see if anything changes my thoughts on Illinois. “I should probably know where I’m going (to school) after that.”   Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Penn State and West Virginia were a few of the other programs to offer Green during the recruiting process.
  15. http://recruiting.scout.com/story/1427930   Indiana offered one of the top rising juniors in their home state today when Decatur Central's Trent Maynard (6-4, 285) added the Hoosiers to an offer list that already includes Illinois and Cincinnati.   "It means a lot to me knowing that I've been there a few times," he said, "more than other colleges I've been to. I feel blessed and excited."   Having been there as much as he has, Maynard says he has gotten to know head coach Kevin Wilson and offensive line coach Greg Frey quite well.   "I love the staff. I definitely think they'll change things around. I know they haven't had the greatest seasons, but that will be changing. I love the offense they have. It's a top ten offense in the nation."   And an offense that will soon have Maynard's high school teammate Tommy Stevens at the controls. Stevens is one year older than Maynard, but the possibility that he could reunite with his quarterback one day is enticing.   "I told Tommy [about the IU offer]. He's excited. We'll get up there for me to get a better look at them, but I know he's excited. It would be crazy to block for him for four more years."
