I went to an IU basketball game with my dad the year that they had 12 wins (they won that game), and we got to go see the court because we got there a few hours early. Crean was standing on the other side of the gym, saw us, and walked over to us to say hi. He took pictures with me, signed a program and gave it to me, and had someone open up cook hall for us so I could shoot around for a bit. Safe to say it was the best experience of my life.

What about the head coach of one of the Indiana AAU teams. Indiana Elite, Spiece Indy Heat, etc. They would help with the in-state recruiting because of ties to players.

2 bold predictions: JB only averages 8 points a game his freshmen year, and by year 2 RoJo is better than JB. Call me crazy.

And I like our chances to get both of them. Cunninham's other best offer is Bradley, and he'll get good PT at Indiana, so why wouldn't he want to play for the bigger school? And Maten, I don't know his other offers, but I doubt they're big name schools.

I think this is where Crean needs to showcase his coaching ability (if he has any). Not the most talented bunch he's had here, but enough to be competitive. And as for cunningham's shooting, I think he's like sheehey in that he can knock down open 3's, but mostly drives to the lane.
