So we are either 6th, 7th, or 8th (is 8th possible) Anybody have the scenarios that could play out for each? I'm sure i could look it up but assume someday already knows.

Me too, but I never gave up on him. His play is sometimes erratic.... but the brilliance was always there... the shooting slump worried me but i didn't think he was getting enough minutes to find his rhythm. Rojo coming back around recently has been great. I do feel like I've given up on Hurtman though, which sucks cause I really liked him and thought he would be a difference maker in at last a few games.

We need to win out and keep the momentum. BUT we are on the Road... Iowa is really good on Offense (although not recently) and REALLY bad on Defense, we are "ok" on Offense and much improved on defense. We beat them pretty handily at home and I think we have improved more than they have.... OK so I am trying to talk myself into predicting a Road Victory.... Is Green ok? Everyone is mentioning that he was pulled for Newkirk and that didn't seem to be the case to me at all, I still think Green played a MUCH MUCH better game than Newkirk. Newkirk hit a few tough shots down the stretch but his ball handling and passing is still very weak. Green tried to make some plays and guys AGAIN can't catch the ball, not in perfect spots but not horrible passes either (ala the 2 Juwan Morgan passes). Green hurt his ankle and that was when he got pulled from the game and I don't think ever came back in, I am not thinking Archie played Newkirk over him by choice. Any info out there?

Not a lot of movement in the overall standings, @Napleshoosier moved up 3 spots, @Class of '66 Old Fart moved down 3 spots.... and that is it for the top portion of the standings. Next game will probably see more movement as we won't ALL predict the IU victory, if you wanna win you are going to have to go against the grain as @fwgreenway has been holding that top spot for a while now!

Could be a prettier game than i thought. Defensive pressure by Illinois is already noticeably declined.

Newkirk can't play at this fast pace, Green needs to be in as much as possible against their frenetic defense. First half looking a lot like last game against them but i predict they run out of gas in the 2nd half this time. Playing a little shorthanded, on the road, against our hopefully improved defense. May not be pretty but looks like we pull this one out.
