Likes on the app won't show names until Apple approves new app. You should still be able to see who liked posts on computer.

Members - As I'm sure you are all aware, we have been under attack with a malicious redirect code that was sending members to various sites when trying to access BtownBanners.com. From 8pm last night to 6am this morning I was working very closely with a company we hired to fix the situation. Once the situation was fixed, the only way we could ensure the code didn't reappear was to update BtownBanners.com to the latest software version 4.0. We know there are many changes to this new version that will take some time to get used to. We ourselves are not well versed in the new system yet either as we did not get the opportunity to play around with it before going live. That is NEVER the best situation, but when members can no longer visit BtownBanners from work, or their computers we had a problem. The site you see right now is VERY BASIC. This was the bare bones to get us up and running. Over the course of the next few days/weeks/months we will be adding back and changing the site to your preferences. I want to stress that this is a VERY BASIC version of what we will end up on. The company I used last night's advice was to keep the site down for two weeks to get familiar with the site for a smooth transition and launch. You all know after reading that how crazy that suggestion was given the time of the year. We decided to move forward with the hopes to use THIS THREAD as a learning tool. PLEASE use this thread to comment things you like, things you'd change, things you don't like. If it isn't mentioned in this thread, we will not be able to fix it as we don't know there is an issue. Google has removed the deceptive site warning as they have checked the site is clear! Could take a couple hours to update for everyone; but we shouldn't have those issue anymore

I've gotten 30 minutes of sleep from all of this. BAN HAMMER is out Hova.

Deceptive site will show up until Google goes through our appeal process that everything was removed. The format can get adjusted, honestly we are learning it as we go. This was a brand new platform (4.0 vs 3.2 we were using before.). That being said, there will be some growing pains, but we'll work to fix them and get them back.

  yes.  Fear is we'd lose the site throughout the weekend.  Not worth it given what weekend it is.  Many users use the App which is unaffected by this.
