I’d personally put Drew behind Stevens. He does awesome at Baylor and I think he’d do even more at IU.

This is gonna be a longggggg rest of the season if most of our targets are in March Madness unless we are getting Stevens then I just hope the deal gets done very quickly to get a jump start on next season.

It probably also makes a difference if him or his wife’s parents are getting older and they want to be around them more…. Am I the only one who also ranks coaches in who they could bring in the portal with them? Is there anyone from Ole Miss or Auburn or Gonzaga that would put a coach over the top? if it’s Stevens I think he is the only one who could get Mullins to flip… unfortunately he won’t even try to flip Haralson and I think he also keeps our two recruits that we currently have! people talk about wanting Few but did everyone forget he has a DUI or maybe 2? So it’s not like he’s Mr. Innocent either.

Honestly IMO it’s dumb for Woodson to stay… he’s going to get booed very badly and then senior day will be incredibly awkward if he had to give a speech

I think for IU AND for Dusty May IF Brad Stevens is going to be the coach because a deal is already worked out I would announce the retirement and Stevens as next coach before Saturday’s tip off. That way the atmosphere is all for IU and not spent chanting we want Dusty because you know it will happen if Stevens isn’t announced.

I think it’s a matter if it’s something that was a one time thing or has secretly happened multiple times but just not reported. I also think he would need to agree to entering AA or sign some sort of clause. If he wins here AND doesn’t have another dust up then in a couple years it mainly goes away because people will stop hating on him. He has to absolutely prove he’s turned his life around though IMO.
