I will say after speaking with my buddy yesterday in college coaching circles both brownell and McCollum are both well respected and considered really good coaches. He said to quote: Those are both good coaches and have had to grind out success. Indiana is not an elite job anymore. They are middle of the pack team. Need to get a coach that wants to come in a work.

How are they not similar? They both win at every stop they’ve ever been at, they both have complete confidence in themselves, they both have built programs up.

Who is the big fish? Unless you’re still talking about Stevens but the way you worded it makes me think you’re talking about someone else. I weirdly would be ok with it being someone like Self who is ready for a change, Few, or someone that caliber of coach.

I wouldn’t be surprised actually… him and Cignetti are Very similar minus the D2 vs lower D1. They both win, they are both very confident in themselves, they know exactly how they want to coach and only bring in players who will buy into thier system, and I’ve even seen Cig respond to people on Social media about coaching so if McCollum does that too it’s just probably in their DNA to defend themselves.

Nothing against RTZ but when he says done deal and then says deal is dead then comes back with that GIF hard to truly believe anything. I’m normally one who is like ok if someone has sources cool hope they are right but when everyone is saying Dolson is keeping it extremely close to the vest and nothing being leaked about Stevens it’s getting to the point of hard to believe. I think my issue is Goodman has now recommended three people for the job to get us back to relevance. It’s like those 247 recruiting analyst who change their pick a day before a commitment.

Question for everyone…. What does Brownell bring to the table? I know really nothing about him. Is he good at X’s and O’s? Is he a good recruiter? Can he hire great assistants?
