Well in the interview posted above he said he's playing the next game, which is us, and from what I've seen Illinois does well against teams that don't defend well. I think we're in trouble but on the flip side our team is so inconsistent everywhere so who knows how this is going to go. We may show up and play hard, we may show up and tie our own shoelaces together before holding a stick of butter in each hand all game.

It's not just Mgbako. The entire team played half-heartedly against Iowa at best. No energy, no motivation, no hustle, no thought put into what they were doing. Endless turnovers and zero contests on perimeter shots. Iowa let off the gas at the start of second half and cruised right past us for an easy win. Illinois will do about the same to us. This team is beyond inconsistent and dysfunctional. Meanwhile Woodson and his yes men sat in their chairs on national television like three lumps on a log, confused as to what was happening. There is zero coaching, zero development, zero discipline. The summary of Woodson's tenure is Piss Poor Planning Provides Piss Poor Performance. Iowa showed me what the level of expectation for the rest of the season should be. Sorry for the negative Nelly rant but this is where we are at.

I'm 37, been an IU fan my whole life. For the first time ever, I don't give a !?$@ about this program. I want to say some very harsh things about the administration, the head coach, and the players at this point(I'm a firm believer in the mentality of one RMK and if it were me in that coaching seat we wouldn't be in this position and if the team ever played like that I'd be lighting a volcano under their a$$e$) and I simply can't watch this team. It actually makes my blood boil. I've cracked a lot of jokes about it but this game tonight was flat out embarrassing on multiple levels and it's disgusting that we're even in this position. Until Woodson is gone and the people in charge pull their heads from where the sun doesn't shine this program will not be respected by the CBB community at large. We are a far cry from the rich storied history that IU basketball used to and should represent. I hate all of this...

Yeah, my prediction league ranking just tanked with this one so I'm just going to predict blowout losses for the rest of the season. They looked absolutely lost out there tonight. How do we salvage this with the rest of our schedule?

Not after what I just witnessed. Worst game of IU basketball I've ever seen played and that was the easiest team on our remaining schedule. Seriously. We're the joke of the CBB world and what we just witnessed exposed it.

If this is what Iowa does to us it's going to get a lot worse from here on out. The fact that there has been zero development, adjustments, or overall improvement just got exposed to every team out there tonight. Wheels just flew off and rolled into a bonfire, and the car just skidded onto the junkyard crusher.

Not with Woody coaching. Perimeter play is an afterthought for this man. As in maybe after we get destroyed this season he'll recognize how wrong he is about how the game is played after some retirement thoughts. But I doubt it. He did his job remember?

This one's so bad I had to take Excedrin migraine at halftime. This is one of the worst games of IU basketball I have ever witnessed.
