Mgbako was not a portal get. He was a Duke recruit that decommitted late who, as you said, literally fell into Woodson's lap. He's Woodson's kind of kid - good talent and zero effort to get.

That's exactly where we are. Fire Mediocre Mike Woodson.

He's the one forcing Woodson, year 4 on Indiana despite the crap show that he was in year 3. Woodson can't coach, won't recruit, and we can't dump him because Woodson was butt hurt when we hired Archie. And Archie got 4 years, so we're stuck with a lazy, incompetent has-been for our coach. And Woodson is going to try to buy his team with the Cook's and Simons' checkbooks.

This whole thing (Woodson, Buckner, Dusty and Pearl) makes me sick. Literally nauseated. Buckner is such an @$$, willing to take down his own alma mater to keep his buddy in a job that he was never qualified to get. and he's destroying every last bit of his legacy and Woodson's.

Yes. Buckner was great in 1972-76. Woodson was pretty good in 1976-80. But neither of them have done anything worthy of respect relative to Indiana University and the IU men's basketball program since they left school. Buckner forced Woodson on this program as coach three years ago because Woodson's panties were in a wad when IU hired Archie Miller as coach. Miller was an up-and-coming mid-major coach who was hired over the absolutely unqualified Woodson. I've been watching IU basketball since 1973. I've seen the good and I've seen the bad. Where we are now is the worst that it has been. We're saddled with an unept, unqualified and lazy man in the coach's seat. For God's sake, he had to be told by Scott Dolson to go watch a top "recruit" play in his sectional game. He has ZERO recruits signed for 2024 and beyond. I don't need to be told who I should respect. These two (Buckner and Woodson) are working hard to trash what little good will and legacy they have left with the shenanigans that are going on at Indiana today. Mike Woodson has not done his job despite what he will tell you. And Buckner is protecting and enabling him while causing the Indiana men's basketball program to spiral downwards and out of control. You are entitled to your option, as am I. I just happen to not agree with your assessment.

We suck. We have an old, lazy and arrogant coach who thinks he's doing his job and is so full of himself that is disgusts the real "true fans". We need someone who can come in here and truly right the ship - not with "words", but with actual work. A guy like Pearl can give us 5-7 years of growth and positive progress so that when he is done, we have a program that quality guys are interested in taking over. The other options are stick with Mediocre MIke for another season (or however many Buckner wants to foist on us) or get somebody who may well be the next Archie or Crean or Davis. It's time to do something to fix this mess.

Just the run of the mill stuff - Calapari can't coach, the team sux, the program is a joke, Cal wastes more talent than anyone, never giving another dollar to the program while Cal is there. The site is slammed, and reloading pages is horrible - lots if server connection issues, etc.
