Transfer Portal w IU Interest
Jeff Flabjohns replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
That’s…a lot. Hopefully not true. Guess that’s what happens when you have such an uninspiring year one. Nobody is taking even the slightest discount to play for DDv -

Boswell dished out 3 assists per game, him Burton and Brumbaugh would be a rock solid 3 guard rotation. The Bloomington B’s -

Yeah, Duke is contractually obligated to have a $5M player on their roster. Flagg, Booz, Bidunga. -

A potential Burton + Brumbaugh pairing better relegate Nick Dorn to the bench. A lineup featuring those three would not hold up. -

Olsen and Dorn as starters would be no bueno for our defense/rebounding. A lot like last years team. If one of them is gonna get big minutes then the other spot HAS to be someone that can defend at this level. -

Plan is to start only three guys and bring 12 off the bench. -
In this fantasy, Stevens would of course step into Ryan Carr’s role. I still can’t believe we have a guy as qualified as Carr in that position right now. He’s our hope.

Listed as a junior. Articles about him are citing him as an incoming senior. -

I’m really intrigued by Estrella. Two years left. Actually big and plays like it. Would like Olsen as a stretch 4 off the bench…15-20 mpg depending on matchups. He probably is going somewhere to start though? -

I believe Olsen has only one year left. -
Yup. Like Cig, Dusty is gonna blow out teams in the quarters and semis before winning a close one for a title. In his second year
-
Dusty May win more than a couple titles by the time he’s done. Ughhhhhhh
-
Ugh. Wake up Arizona. This could get ugly
-
But can’t forget it took yet another Jon Scheyer choke for Hurley to be here again.

One game away from a third chip. In this day and age…just crazy. Right up there with guiding IUFB to an undefeated title. Will never again question the sideline antics. He’s a savant. Smart, consistently never satisfied. I fear Dusty is of a similar mold…

Coupled with 4/4 from 60% FT shooter Tarris Reed. you make your own luck. Not gonna beat themselves. Like our football team losing one fumble all year. Just incredibly well-coached and prepared.
-
Unbelievably high bball IQ up and down this UConn team. Hurley and that staff is as good as I’ve seen in my lifetime. Not saying much since they’re 41 minutes away from 3 titles in 4 years.
-
Wagler having an awful night. He’s somehow been gassed since the tip
-
9 or 10 of the 14 missed Illinois threes were wide open looks. Tough 4/18 overall
-
Disagree. This has been a weird game, these teams are much more even than this score and the difference today has little to do with athleticism. Look at Illinois schedule this year, hung with and beat plenty of teams that are more athletic than them. Illinois offense is elite, they could absolutely win a title coming into today
-
All first half they weren’t even getting it passed half court until 21 on the shot clock
-
Hasn’t affected them all year. They’ve hurt themselves a lot today. Missed FTs, bunnies and brainless turnovers. Not hitting from outside. UConn defense has been rock solid.
-
A few missed calls but there’s been twice as many instances of ILL players just dribbling it off their foot. Lights seem too bright for em
-
Just wait until Monday when it’s Mullins vs May for the chip.
