  1. worth a watch. I respect Painter a ton, one of the few coaches I'll watch their postgame. He talks about Trayce around 3 minutes in, just gushes over the player and the person.
  2. I think it had gotten down to 5 at that point, 55-50. JHS got a friendly bounce and then Malik neutered Edey
  3. LETS GOOOOOOO. So much good from that first half, and then execution down the stretch was so damn encouraging. Love it
  4. Some athletic and good shooting Big 12/SEC team will run em off the floor
  5. Edey is so limited offensively compared to TJD. Not entirely a knock, dude just started playing ball five years ago. I stand by it, take four inches off him and that team is .500 in conference. They're prime for an early March exit
  6. I see Trayce often drawing Edey out and trying to beat him off the dribble. I like the potential there, he's expanded that (as well as being comfortable leading the break) part this season
  7. Big Ten officials don't know what to do with him. Come Tourney time it's going to bite them in the @$$
  8. There's a reason TJD is safely being mock drafted in the second round and Edey is nowhere to be found. Dude has one offensive move and then otherwise just uses height and 300lbs. Like Luka Garza was 7 foot but was really well-rounded and barely sniffs NBA minutes. Edey will dominate CBB, win two NPOY's and then head to Lithuania for pro ball. It's dumb
  9. He's going to be the least talented person to ever win NPOY
  10. If Edey is 7'0'', Purdue is a .500 B1G team. Dude has one offensive move, setting his 300 pound frame up down low then turning left shoulder and releasing it. Otherwise he just stands under the hoop collecting rebounds. He'd get eaten alive in the NBA but in CBB of course has no match for 7'4". Passing out of doubles is easy only because of those extra four inches It's dumb to watch
  11. Witnessing a legendary stretch here from TJD. Reminding myself to take a breath and appreciate it. Our guy is setting records each time out. What a player
  12. Galloway has been unbelievably awful today. Defense has been fine, they're hitting circus shots This one is going to sting
  13. Haven't had a good looking offensive set, bucket or not, in awhile. Sigh
  14. Up to 20 on Kenpom, third highest in conference
  15. Around when TJD had 28 the TV caught him telling a teammate "I'm gonna get 40" and gesturing to show how he was being guarded. What an absolutely dominating performance by our guy...him and JHS are developing awesome chemistry.
  16. The rebounding continues to be a major issue.
  17. Reneau and Geronimo can't play again today. Put in Logan
  18. yeah, that's what I heard. PU was told this morning that they're 'not in the ballpark' when it comes to NIL.
  19. We'd go from 18th to 5th, slotting in behind Kansas and just above Ohio State
  20. Exactly. Move on from him quickly and lets hit the portal for a PG, NOW. Or have him missing the first 3 games next year and leave it at that.
