Well, since I’d rather discuss this completely accurate post that is not indicative of confirmation bias, there are only 4 big wink names in your list. At least, that the big wink money would consider big winks.

Especially without the current school knowing. I find it hard to believe that we signed a coach to a contract and the current school is simply oblivious to it while the coach is going through the tournament. But, maybe that can happen.

Two kids involved then. And I’m not saying it’s not a factor. I’m just saying I doubt that everything else lined up and his daughter, with all of a year and a half of school left, had veto power.

Yeah, I’m not buying this is the big reason. I don’t know their family dynamics but if Stevens said, I really want to coach at IU, but hey, you have another 1.5 years of HS left, so I’ll stay if that’s what you want. I gotta admit, I’d be disappointed if my daughter said, then we are staying. Not saying kids aren’t a factor. Just saying I don’t believe that is THE factor.

As much as people are talking about him, I’d be shocked if it was.

Time to piss off everyone. 1) if you come to a free message board, read something from someone with inside sources, and then get butthurt if it doesn’t come to pass, that’s on you. 2) if you share inside info on a free message board, get push back from Debbie Downers, and get butthurt, that’s on you. 3) If you come to a free message board, are contrarian just to be a dick, and then, well, you’re just a dick.

This is the type of info that has me scratching my head. And this is nothing against you. But how can multiple people know it’s not Brad, but they are going to not say who it is? Or is Dolson telling his inner circle, go out and say it’s not Brad? I’ll say this. If I was someone who was close enough to the situation to know it is not a particular person, I’m not saying **** to anyone including my wife.

I don’t think that’s true of all of them. Clearly, there are some who love attention and post in a way to get reactions. But I believe some are just passing along what they are hearing and some people take it as gospel.

Types of posters: 1) people who believe everything they read that matches what they want. 2) people who believe everything that goes against the grain, simply the other side of the coin to 1. 3) cynical people like me who think the sweet meteor of death is likely around the corner so don’t believe anything on a forum Mix them up and watch it go.

The uncertainty of this is the reason why I don’t understand putting so much mental energy into what folks with insider info say. Not because I think they are lying (maybe some are trolls). But because it doesn’t make sense that on the one hand, Dolson is being super secretive but on the other, insiders are spilling the beans and it gets posted on forums. I can’t reconcile those two. So, as much as I want to know who it is, I choose to not believe jack squat until we have an announcement or a leak that seems so definitive that it makes sense.

But you have to admire his specificity. Damn. That’s the way you troll. None of this emoji crap.

I don’t block or ignore people because I just don’t get bothered by trolls or click baiters. Sometimes they are funny. But the emoji type click baiting makes no sense to me. Doesn’t bother me. Just silly.

What’s funny is, if we end up with Brownell or McCollum, the thought that Dolson kept things quiet goes right out the window since that’s who the “regional” sports people have been saying. Which is why I don’t think it will be either of them.
