I would say unless a player was not on campus and couldn't get to the meeting it should tell you who doesn't plan to come back. I think if the majority of players come back we should be in good shape and add a couple of transfers. Also wonder if Hunter comes back it would help some of the players make their decision. I know Stewart his here because of him so I would think he would come back.

OK instead of Indiana guy how about an RMK guy who knows and loves IU basketball. Every coach before RMK was an IU guy. and that won 2 titles. Coach K was not a Duke guy but all of his assistants are former Duke players and the next HC will probably be one of those guys. Dean Smith was not a UNC guy but after him all of their HC that have been hired was an UNC guy.

I did not read through all of the pages but probably got mainly your negative post which is your right to be negative. He was not my fist choice but after Stevens, Beilein or Matta I was not really thrilled with anyone else out there. I was never sold on Oats or Muslleman because they seem to much of a flash in the pan and haven't proven that much. I also don't think those two were going to leave anyway so that is a mute point. There must be something up with Beard because Goodman said that UCLA and now IU has not reached out to him about their openings. I have seen IU go outside the IU family for 21 years and get some top candidates but it has not worked. My thinking it was time to go this route to see if an IU guy can get us back because they know what it takes to win at IU and what the fan base is like. I have been a fan for 50 years and I will be one until god calls me home so I will back Woodson as our next coach. I just hope everyone will go in with an open mind and give him a chance. I know some will say they are through with IU basketball and that is your right to do that but I will only say one thing see ya. also if anyone wants to give their season tickets away I will take them. Sports are for entertainment and think some take it way to seriously if they get this upset over who is hired at IU. I spent a great day celebrating my first grand child's first birthday so everything in my world is great.

Candidate Thread: Brad Stevens (Boston Celtics)

To me if you go by Dolson's word Porter does not fit his criteria on the offensive end. -
Wow there were 4 games today with 8 teams and only two scored over 70 points with a high of 72. It is such inept offense and don't really blame the players because the coaches uses this horrible system they use in college today. they micro manage every possession and mainly walk the ball up even after misses. the other night watching the 87 final four game against UNLV the score at the 16 minute mark of the second half was 67-63

Well after that season more than half the team would have been ineligible because of grades. He was not the right coach for IU and I thank god every day he is not the coach at IU

I have only watched a couple on TV and would like him to go to IU. He reminds me of Aaron Craft from OSU but a better shooter.
