  1. Is this accurate? If they lose 1 and we win out, then we have the better record having played 1 more game than them. I think we would go to the title game in that scenario.
  2. I actually disagree with this. Don't get me wrong, Fyrogle and Whop will end up as two of the most productive WRs in IU history, but WR is also the position we have the most depth at. Right now, take out Ty and Whop and IU fields Miles Marshall, David Ellis, and Jacolby Hewitt. That's still a Big Ten caliber starting WR group. Plus they have Rashawn Williams and Javon Swinton right behind those three. Their top commit for 2021? Jaquez Smith, literally the highest rated recruit in program history. Losing Ty and Whop is going to suck big time, but I don't think it's going to lead to a dramatic decrease in WR play.
  3. I'd be frustrated if I were them. IU receivers running open at will. Fields under duress all game. Turtle shell play calling in the 4th quarter that screamed, "just get us out of this game alive". There's certainly a lot that, to IUs credit, did not go well for the Buckeyes today.
  4. No need to play the what if game here. IU, IMO, was the better team on the field today. They came out wayyyy too overhyped. They had a bunch of uncharacteristic mistakes emblematic of the lack of experience in these kinds of games. OSU is very good and they dominated in parts, but mostly it was IU hurting itself. In the 4th quarter when OSU kept going run, run pass, you could tell they were just desperate to get out of this game alive. Nothing to be ashamed of here. This team is legit and I love them.
  5. Watching the game with my best friend who went to Ohio State. We've watched a bunch of these games over the years but this is the first year where he's nervous.
  6. Brum is in a class of his own. That ain't gonna happen! lol
  7. Here's the highlights synced to Fisch. Another phenomenal production form the Cuban Center.
  8. Boy are you gonna look silly when we're 8-0 heading into the champ game against Peyton Ramsey.
  9. Considering they are both freshman in their first games after limited practice and no out of conference warm up games, this could be less of a depth chart issue and more of learning curve issue. In other words, it's possible these guys have really only learned their own routes so far. So if Swinton was studying Fryfogle's role in the offense and Williams is studying Whop's role, then it would just make more sense for Swinton to fill in after Fryfogle went out since he is the one who knows the routes. Or maybe that's all hogwash and Williams was just dealing with a minor injury. Or maybe Swinton is just better. There's a lot of potential explanations, but the moral of the story is the same. I wouldn't read too much into it and also IU has some great depth at WR now. Hewitt's catch was legit amazing and remember neither of these might have seen the field if David Ellis hasn't sat out the game with injury. The roster this staff has built is really impressive.
  10. That sounds like a medical condition. I recommend seeking the help a professional.
  11. Thanks! I'm an IU diehard in all sports, but it's tough not to have a special feeling about this football team.
  12. BRUMMMMMMM. I was goin nuts over on the OHB! Was that game not the most insane thing you've ever seen? I, frankly, was shocked they didn't overturn it just because Indiana has never gotten that kind of replay in their favor.
