    I watched them play Iowa the other day. They like to play uptempo and go deep into their bench. The also love to jack up threes.

    She is in concussion protocol after taking a hit in practice. Coach Moren said that they were also protecting against light and sound sensitivity which is why she was not on the bench for the game.

    Just hypothesizing here but it is a good time of year to push the team a bit to remind them what is coming up in the Bahamas and later in the tournaments at year-end. This early season reminder should pay dividends as the season progresses.

    Too bad, she was starting to look more mobile the last few weeks of the season and looked to be primed for more time on the floor next year.

    Until I see with where they end up, I am going to go with the transfer is more about pursuing an educational opportunity that they feel they cannot get at IU.

    At the end of the press conference, the NCAA announced the Mercado Region all tournament team. Grace Berger and MacKenzie Holmes were both named to the team, along with Boyd from NC State, Nixon from Texas A&M. McDonald was named most outstanding player. Congratulations to Grace and Mack and a most appreciative thank you to all the IU women for an exciting season.
