    The article did say Purdue was 11-0 in big ten. Maybe the women are playing a program for years past.

    Not surprised either. I was watching the NC State v. Notre Dame this past week and they were talking about some of the ND players waiting three years before getting their day to shine and that this will be the exception as most just move on when they do not get the playing time they think they deserve.

    Not rushing her back prematurely and I am sure she will not hit the floor until the doctors give the okay to Coach Moren. From what I have learned through the classic "friend of the mother", the procedure was to clear out some cartilage around the kneecap and to make sure there was no other damage. They were given a 4-6 week timeline to be back.

    IDS News had the following on Holmes. “Mack had a very successful knee procedure,” Moren said Sunday. “Right now she’s doing phenomenal in her rehab.” A four week return after her surgery is looking like a possibility, which if it works out would be good timing for the stretch run.

    Moving 1 day earlier opens up a shot at playing either Friday night (11th) or Saturday (12th). They have Nebraska on Monday the 14th. The next 5 day window is between Iowa (20th) and Maryland (25th).

    Correct. On Facebook, her dad posted a week ago that it was not ligament/tendon/cartilage related.

    Seems so; probably some exploratory and clean up. Given that she can start rehab right away gives some hope that if she does hit the floor for the post season that she will be back in game shape by then.
