Wish we could convince PSU's coach to come here...

I'm not usually one for this phrase - but - there is truly no excuse for this. Embarrassing. Abysmal. Zero pride on the court. Woodson has lost this locker room clearly. We've done this cycle enough - the decision makers at IU need to get on board with a new way of operating. No more allowing the flagship program at the University (and biggest moneymaker/brand asset) to wallow in mediocrity. Name an assistant interim coach. Maybe explore agreeing with Woodson to call it a medical retirement. But you can't put this product out on the court again next year and expect to be taken seriously by any recruits/donors/fans. Why the total lack of urgency in a time where coaches get fired mid-season/after 1 year routinely? Why don't they want more than this?

I agree he won't be fired this offseason... What's his buyout situation anyway? Does it become more manageable after next year?

The season just keeps on getting more and more disappointing. Shaping up to be one of the biggest letdowns for the program in the past decade I'd say

Welp. This game basically seals the deal on this season. We may have some pleasant surprises here and there, but this is not looking like a tournament team. What's Woody's buyout - has it already been posted and I missed it? Lol :/

I was curious and just googled it. Believe the rule is 9 games or less to be eligible for medical redshirt in basketball, apparently, unfortunately. Unless that is an outdated policy? Tough to keep up with the NCAA rules these days...

JG and MR have to step up if Race will be out for an extended period. Obviously I want Race healthy and available. At the same time, silver lining here would be if those two get into a better groove with a bigger role in the rotation. Time to grow up guys!

I am a huge fan of Malik, but its clear why Woody has him playing the minutes he is recently... You can't be a big man in the B10 and allow yourself to get tied up like that in the post

I'll admit, I haven't kept as close of tabs on IUFB as I would've liked the last few years. Can someone bring me up to speed on W T F happened with the program recently, when it looked like Allen was turning things around in 2019/2020?

Next 3 games are going to tell us a lot. Hard to feel great after today, just so ugly. But before the UNC game, a lot of us were saying if we go 3-2 over the next 5 game stretch, we'd be satisfied. So we'll see. Dropping the RU game makes 3-2 an awful lot harder, considering we're 1-1 now with Nebraska and Arizona in the next week, followed by Kansas on the road. 2-3 over this stretch feels like another "good, but not great" kind of year. Trying to remind myself there's a lot of season left and a lot of time for them to iron out the junk we saw out there today.
