Well the screens set under Archie/Woody are the laziest and slowest screens you could ever imagine. The offense under both coaches go at the speed of 1st week of practice.

I don't believe the walk ons have yet to shoot a FT this year... So... 0% isn't beating anyone.

It's a general statement. Doesn't mean everything kid isn't taught or doesn't try.

I don't know what's worse... That there are people who believe she could actually compete in men's basketball or that Mine Woodson would actually try doing it.

They don't really teach defense anymore. It's more of, "how good of a 1v1 offensive player can you be?" That and kids nowadays just don't have that "dawg" in them anymore. Basketball is a hobby and not a passion. They might practice a lot, but it's empty practicing. Making themselves great for horse but not making themselves great BASKETBALL players. Seeing it really manifest in the NBA. When guys like LeBron, Curry and some others retire, the "dawg mentality" will basically be gone. It'll be glorified AAU where everyone is friends and there isn't a competitive spirit.

Xavier is a stepping stone job. Always has been. And it's one hell of one too... If you're a good coach. Skip Prosser had some good years at Xavier and a few at Wake. Matta though won 26 games in all 3 seasons and went to an Elite 8 before going to Ohio State. Then Miller went to an E8 and S16S before leaving for Zona. Mack went to 3 S16s and an E8. Travis though was absolute trash. He was their Archie. Tanked the program basically.

He lost 2 starters before the season ever started and Freemantle was probably their best player and Hunter probably in their top 4. Also lost a few guys from last season. Dude can coach though. Xavier is as good as Indiana this year with a hell of a lot less talent.

I totally believe it. It isn't anything that's never happened before. Maybe a 12 seed would be high but we've seen the Northern Iowa teams, Stephen F Austin under Underwood, Mercer over Duke, Princeton last year. You don't need elite collegiate talent to get that upset in the tourney. And smart basketball can win games in college.

It isn't smart yet... But the NBA is making a very sloth like move to actually getting dudes who know basketball. And... This year's draft class is horrid. The freshmen... Terrible. Haven't seen a freshmen class this bad since Yogis class with Nerlens and all of them. Honestly, if you want to get drafted high, probably a good year to go. Like Edey.

10 Leals gets you probably an MVC title and a 12 over 5 upset in the NCAA tourney.

That Kennesaw State team from last season was pretty good. They were a popular pick for a 1st round upset. South Florida could possibly be in the same situation if they win their tourney and sit in that 12-13 seed area.

How are you feeling about South Florida? I imagine they probably still have to win their conference tourney but you gotta admit, pretty wild they've won 16 of 17. And up 11 on FAU right now.

The "Bubble" and teams with work to do(possibly a lot, but this really done without any dive into a teams resume). AAC: Memphis ACC: Pittsburgh, Syracuse Big 12: Kansas State Big East: Butler Pac-12: Oregon MWC: Boise State It is looking very very rough around the bubble this season. Especially right now. Maybe in 2 weeks it'll look better.

I thought about them as well. I guess I can make a list of the "bubble." But Boise State definitely has a shot.
