  1. Cluff sucks. He's only decent because the rest of that team is excellent, but I do agree... that team is very solid. Ehhh.. nahhhh Plus... "fielding decent tourney teams" would be suuuuuch a step above where we have been for 10 years.
  2. We have 10 points in the 2H in 10:30 mins.
  3. Absolutely so freaking true. None of those bums and their #s show... not a single one of them have had good seasons. If we had Malik we are a T25 team.
  4. Cooper+Singleton have both been more productive.
  5. Sam Alexis last 13 games are pretty much all you need from a center spot... 25MPG- 11ppg 5r 2blks +A/T ratio ---72% FGs Especially his last 8 games--27MPG 13p 5r 2bs A/T ratio 3:1 73%FGs
  6. I hope we just trust our own eyes, ears vs worrying about what 247/On3 slaps on a recruit ranking wise. Braden Smith - wasn't ranked on 247 and #198 composite--- rated the #9 player in Indiana lol..rated the #33 PG in HIS CLASS... Keaton Wagler- #150 on 247, #261 composite Ryan Conwell https://247sports.com/player/ryan-conwell-46118010/high-school-268570/... The list goes on and on. Cignetti's best skill is him and his staff's ability to scout. Basketball should be no different.
  7. I feel Harris is by far the most promising part of this group, granted... it wasn't P4-- but his rebounding rate was well above average. He can shoot it a little bit, and he was only an 18-19yr old playing LAST year against plenty of 22+ yr olds... That gap will be significantly lessened, age wise, by the start of next season.
  8. Jack isn't portaling lol Jack is also better than Dorn
  9. Antwaan Randle El was a god when I was 9
  10. Did I say that? There's "poor consistency", then there's 18% from 3 over 7 games. That's retched. Too bad we don't have Jack Benter :)
  11. Over the last 7 games is there? 18% lol with volume
  12. Doesn't provide a lot of "3" either... he's shooting 17.9% from 3 the last 7 games.... 7-39... unplayable.
  13. That's a good shot for Jack, tbh. That isn't guarded either.... not for Jack, and if Jack isn't allowed to shoot that, he shouldn't even be out there. Crummy pass by the "assist king", though.
  14. Personally I would have had no issue throwing the sink at Hoiberg this offseason.
  15. Well... UNT did lose their coach, but when scheduled them they still had him.. they finished 41st in the FPI this year... ahead of 25+ power 4 schools. Old Dominion finished 49th in FPI this year.
  16. I think we all get @$$ tats TBH.... "2026 Natty Champions" across our butt cheeks.
  17. Wonder why she transferred to Assumption
  18. absolutely... he's without a doubt a 4... his best attribute is his rebounding, tbh. He's always been a 4... although, Woodson probably would have played him at the 2. lol ... He's a banger, though, rebounding rates ---- TDV -- DReb % 14 OReb %-- 2 (9.5% total) ...... Sisley 18%, 8% (13% total) Probably comes back at 6'8 230 next year, ready to roll..
  19. Draft picks on both accounts are TBD... But like.. I don't agree with you on the bold... I can get down with the OL being "better" but we were still a Top 3 OL last year. Idk how those 3 could even be "better" than--- 494 carries 2665 yards (5.4 avg) 23TDs... 167 yards a game on the ground from those 3 combined. How much "better" could that actually look, in real time? Hoover, yeah.. very good. He isn't Mendoza. And he is NOT the athlete Mendoza is... not terrible, but not a plus athlete.
  20. Wasn't getting a big salary with the Pacers, though? I can THINK of some of the reasons... I'm curious of the actual reason.
  21. Great. I wonder what Carr's reasoning is for taking the job... love of IU? or?... it doesn't seem, necessarily, like a "step up" or maybe we're just paying a lot more? Doesn't ultimately matter, just kinda curious.
  22. Seems a little tacky tack to me with all things considered. Different strokes for different folks. is this a new role we haven't previously employed? I really like what was said about Carr in the article.
  23. Concur. I see in no way we are as good as we were this year offensively... but, ultimately, idk how we could be? We go from absurdly elite to still... VERY good. But, losing the Heisman winner, all conference TE, 2 all conference WRs, and your starting center... and two legit RBs, who are both going to be on NFL rosters comeback August... it's impossible to not feel those effects. I think Hoover, as Mendoza admitted to needing to understand early on... He doesn't have to win us the game, especially EARLY in a game... just make the plays that are there... if getting two first downs and punting, pinning the other team, and then smothering them later on is the best route in the 1Q (quick example) ... do that. We are elite on defense, elite on SPT... play the long game.
