And also stop having seasons with defeats in double digits. Do people realize how long it's been since we finished a season with fewer than 10 losses? In 2015-16, we were 27-8. Since then ... 2016-17: 18-16 2017-18: 16-15 2018-19: 19-16 2019-20: 20-12 2020-21: 12-15 2012-22: 21-14 2022-23: 23-12 2023-24: 19-14 In that span, Duke and Kansas have had a combined three seasons of 10 or more losses.

I gotta draw the line somewhere -- I just cannot get excited about Hippo's middle school coach.

We're a crappy basketball program because of what fans on a message board say? If people post things you think are false, that's fine. Feel free to say so. But if other people choose to believe it, how does that harm you? You don't need to trash people for that. If people wanna believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny -- what effect does that have on you? If people wanna believe that Brad Stevens and Scott Dolson visited the "Breaking Bad" set or that Stevens is gonna sign a contract in early March -- what effect does that have on you? If you don't believe any of those things, fine. But you don't need to sh-t on others because they do.

That's a visceral reaction.

Since the fellas are off until next Sunday against the Toiletmakers, and we're back on the Brad Stevens-is-coming train (wink, wink) -- it's gonna be an interesting week here, to say the least.

For those Buzz Williams fans -- not sure how many there are -- I think he'd be one of those "will he want to leave Texas?" cases. I live in Virginia and though Tech is not exactly a hoops hotbed, he seemed to like Blacksburg. He only left because the A&M job came open and the word was he wanted to get back to Texas. He was running to A&M, not from Tech. Plus, he had been an assistant in College Station previously. I like Buzz. Don't think he'd be my No. 1 choice, but I'd be OK with him. He beat Purdue this season -- that makes him OK in my book!

A dozen in a row over the Toiletmakers. Looked good in the first 20 minutes. In the second 20? Not so good. Obviously, never close to losing -- but we were up by 31 at one point and could've built on that. But we went backward. Always good to beat the PUs, though.

Three minutes in and we have not scored this quarter. Still up by 20, but play has been very sloppy.

Meister gets off a nice turnaround at the buzzer. We're up 67-45 after 30 minutes. Though it's a 22-point lead -- feels like it should be a lot more.

PUs on 13-0 run. We're still up by 18. I'd like to be up by more. Just because.
