  1. This is our first IU game together since we came back from the crash ...
  2. 'Nando is the B1G's MVP Chicago Tribune named him its Silver Football award winner. Other IU winners: ARE (2001), AT (1988, '89), Tim Clifford (1979), Vern Huffman (1936) and Chuck Bennett (1928).
  3. Just saw this statement from Purdue ... We stand united with our Indiana neighbors, the University of Notre Dame. Therefore, we have decided to decline any college football bowl game offers that may come our way. BOILER UP!
  4. I know everyone is aware of this, but it's always nice to have a little visual ...
  5. Sports Illustrated isn't what it used to be -- for years, I'd eagerly await its arrival and pretty much read it from cover to cover each week -- but it continues to name a Sportsman/person/woman of the Year. Doesn't mean as much as it once did, but still ... Two years ago, they picked Deon for "revitalizing" Colorado football. Sorry Prime -- but what you did is a spec of sand on a beach compared with what Cigs has done. I still haven't forgiven them for awarding LeBron for the SECOND time in 2016 rather than my beloved Cubbies, who broke a historic 108-year title drought. They can begin to work their way back into my good graces by presenting the 2025 award to the only worthy recipient ...
  6. Yarden hits a layup to send Maryland to a second overtime at Minnesota -- which the Twerps eventually won. She never showed that kind of athleticism at IU. LOL! https://x.com/MarchMadnessWBB/status/1997811815427023038?s=20
  7. BTW, this got lost in the shuffle since the site was down ... but I thought our old friend Pat Kraft did all right for himself and PSU in a coaching search that seemed to strike out a lot, and at times, got a little embarrassing. Matt Campbell is a solid hire for the Nits. Kiffin leaves Ole Miss -- AD says don't let door hit you in the arse and tell him there's no friggin' way he's coaching the team in the CFP. Campbell leaves Iowa State -- and the AD is in tears. Kinda gives you a sneak peek at the character of those two.
  8. Vandy's all in. No tantrums in the Music City.
  9. So, was it Kirby who voted Georgia No. 1? (Or perhaps more accurately, Georgia's SID?)
  10. Well, well, well ... Notre Dame is throwing a tantrum ...
  11. Dayum. Have the Toiletmakers just given up on women's hoops? On the flipside, Michigan looks to be very, very good. I remember two seasons ago, we were crushing them after 20 minutes in the B1G tourney. They turned the tables and rolled us in the second half. Kinda been on different trajectories ever since.
  12. Now, that's interesting. Hired in Blacksburg. Fired in Blacksburg. Hired in Blacksburg. Guessing he never sold his home!
  13. I was stunned to actually hear Joey Galloway give us some love.
  14. Strange, though, that last week they had ND above Miami. The final rankings have them flipped -- though neither played. I'm totally fine with ND being kept out. They lost to Miami.
  15. Interesting to see what happens amongst Miami, Notre Dame and Alabama. Not sure why 'Bama gets so much love for reaching the SEC title game. Sure, they got there -- but they weren't competitive. And they have three losses. However, their SOS is much higher than the other two. Notre Dame is hot and has won 10 in a row, but that list of 10 in a row isn't very impressive. Miami didn't even make its conference title game, but beat Notre Dame. Duke (8-5) crying for a bid is downright laughable -- although they're arguing against JMU, a G5 school.
  16. 'Nando celebrating with his parents. For those who don't know, his mom has MS. He and Alberto are the cream of the crop. Really, really hope he wins the Heisman. Seems like he will, but you never know ... https://x.com/WISHNews8/status/1997537546222354869?s=20
  17. Instead of "Waffle House," does our No 1 receiver now become known as Elijah "Muther F-cking" Sarratt?
  18. I think he sorta stumbled as he was pushing forward and his knee hit the turf way earlier than it initially appeared -- or than anyone thought.
  19. I'm getting a kick (pun intended) about how the narrative has changed in Columbus -- and around the country, for that matter ... It went from "O$U is just too good. They're stronger up front, have more speed and IU won't be able to score enough. IU is a cute little story, but now's the time to separate the men from the boys." To ... "That game doesn't matter. The College Football Playoff is what matters -- and these two could meet again. If that happens, it will be a different story." For all y'all out there -- keep on doubting. We certainly don't need bulletin board material, but we love it. We proved you wrong once and we'll be happy to do so again.
  20. BTW, we're in the Sweet 16!
