Well, we won't go winless in the B1G. This one was for the gory of old IU! But to be honest, that was pretty disappointing. We had a 36-point lead and were playing some great ball. But rather than keep the pedal on the gas, we let up. Still can't handle full-court pressure. Still can't control our foul trouble. Did win the rebounding battle, though. And in the end, a win is a win. Three players with 20-plus points. Shea: 33 Beau: 24 Maya: 21 Was fun chatting with myself again. LOL!

Caffey and Turner almost getting into a bit of a rumble on a held ball. Most fight we've shown in three quarters.

Outscored 15-2 so far this quarter. I spoke too soon about Shea doing a good job with her fouls. She's picked up 2 more -- has 4 now.

Down to 10. Egads.

So, our 36 point lead is down to 12. No bueno. Still plenty of time left. This shouldn't happen.

Bad news: We had our usual third quarter swoon -- got outscored 26-20. Good news: It doesn't matter. We're up big. We should end up with three players topping 20 points: Shay, Beau and Maya. Shay did a nice job of avoiding further fouls after getting two very quickly. Might have gotten away with a push-off, however.

We're up 23, so things are under control ... knock on wood. But Northwestern is now pressing, and it's giving us fits. Does CTM need to hire an assistant just to teach us how to attack a full-court defense??? Even during our heyday -- Berger, Mack, CMM, Scalia, Parrish, etc. -- we couldn't handle pressing teams.

Up by 29 at halftime. As bad as we are, Northwestern is even worse. Maya is giving Beau and Shay a hand in this one.

41-6 Hoosiers. Taking out our frustrations on the poor Wildkitties.

We struggled early -- falling behind 3-0. Fortunately, we heated up -- and ended the quarter on a 30-0 run. This one's ugly -- but in a good way.

Up huge -- 28-3 late in first quarter. Shay has 2 fouls. Why is she playing? Sit her until halftime.

And another foul on Ciezki. That's two within just over four minutes. How has she not learned to be more careful!

Decided to re-up with B1G+ As soon as I tune in, Shay picks up a foul.

Let my B1G+ subscription lapse. Now, I'm seeing we still have five games left on the Plus. The big question: Do I renew for a month to watch what has thus far been some pretty bad basketball? I think it's $12.99 for a month, so that's about $2.50 a game. Decisions. Decisions. I'll probably go ahead and take the "plunge." LOL.

BTW -- "son" died today. I can just hear Fred in the great beyond: "Hello, you big dummy."

D-Rock better get on his hands and knees and thank everyone of those players for bailing his a$$ out. NEVER shoulda needed those extra 10 minutes.

I doubt he did it on purpose, but missing that 2nd free throw was smart.
