  1. Sampson's players were using and selling drugs. Woodson team is paying Leal 400K someone better be on drugs for that to happen. I mean smoking the good stuff like you and I do
  2. There definitely been women who didn't want to live in Bloomington. Pitino's wife was one. Calbert's wife doesn't live here. But I have never personally heard that about Tracy.
  3. To get Stevens we would let his daughter use the jet to go from Bloomington to Carmel. Of course I'm not in charge of that
  4. My personal opinion was that they were sorta backing out of a verbal agreement so that's why they went were Massholes now. Bloomington South has a really good soccer program. I think they got beat in the state championship this year. That might have been the boys but soccer is good here in Bloomington. The Cutters have a nice program I've always heard.
  5. Just let Dolson and Tracy sit down and negotiate everything. We don't need Quinn, Wittman, Simon's, Ferguson, Pfau family in the room. They can get a deal done. Tracy would love to live in Bloomington.
  6. If he had no interest he wouldn't have talked to us 9 months ago about the job. People don't understand he just said he didn't want the job right now because his kids were in high school. One is in college, the other is a senior I believe.
  7. Now that we have NIL they wouldn't have to sell drugs to have some money in their pocket.
  8. My worry here is he's from Iowa so I can see him being the next Iowa coach when Fran leaves soon. But he looks like he's the real deal
  9. I look at his President-GM role as a good thing. He knows how to put a team together, then he gets to coach them in this new NIL era. So Stevens is choice one for me. Also Dusty is my second choice. He did something we never do, go into Wisconsin and win.
  10. So who is someone we can look at to be our next Cigs if there is no BS, BP or DM?
  11. We had a lot of old rich men in the room and most were intimidated by a smart young woman. So they say she is challenging
  12. Well, my understanding was that we agreed to terms, wrote them up, she took the agreement on a plane from Florida to Boston made a few calls on the plane. Brad got outvoted by his family about leaving Boston but a short time later after the NBA season ended, Ainge retired and Brad became general manager. There were way too many people at the house when all of this was being discussed in Florida.
  13. 7 years 70 million, a teaching spot for his wife in the Mauer School of Law, and a soccer scholarship for their daughter and they will be in Bloomington. Honestly, I haven't let myself get that close to thinking about it again. When we checked in with him after last season the time wasn't right but since they won the NBA championship who knows.
  14. Yes there was many hands in the cookie jar so they say.
  15. I disagree with Cathy about the whole Cluster F Stevens process. But it doesn't matter these days. From what I was told from people in the room we thought we had a signed contract with BS and his agent wife. But maybe Quinn knew he would say no so he could move on to Woody. Anyway can't wait to go through the process again here soon
  16. The guy in the office beside you has an appendix so he's worth more. I think that was you. Hope your recovering well
  17. Good point. Also the pregame Buffett hasn't been very good lately so that is probably slowing Ballo down
  18. Jaedon Mustaf is the one I was talking about. Not sure where he even went but met him on a recruiting trip at Uptown. Seemed like a good kid
  19. That wasn't the one I was talking about but he does fit.
  20. Yeah, that was it. Who was the HS recruit from a couple of years ago whose dad played in the NBA? He was a good shooter Jordan something or Jayden?
  21. Money is the nickname of your favorite guy on the sidelines who is always fighting to stay awake
  22. I'm not sure it got vetoed pretty quickly. Might be Howard's job
  23. I do not know who the recruit was but this wasn't a one-time thing. I was at Uptown one night two summers ago when we had a recruit in town. A good shooter whose dad played in the NBA. But Adam Howard brought the recruit and the family in to sit down. Slowly all the assistants, Calbert, and then Jordy all showed up. We finished eating, paid our bill, said hi to all the coaches, left, and were walking down the street when Woodson and Money were parking the car. Stopped and talked to them for at least 15 minutes.
