    A guy I went to VU with ended up at UNLV. Shawn Marion. Coach Knight came to see him and after the game he told RMK that he didn’t need to hear his speech because he wasn’t offering anything.

    It really is a must IMO. Have to get someone who relates to the kids the most. They want to be coached and around someone who looks like them.

    Recruiting tidbits turned into Wilkerson is going to take some visits, and IU will probably get one We are going to have some new assistants but I don't know who any of them are. Our first weekend visit is going to be Reed Bailey, who is already committed. As I said, it's hard to get info so far with the new staff, so I don't feel bad when I see this is what Rabby and others are getting.

    I have not seen any visits scheduled for sure. Some speculation, but that's about it. Very little info is getting out.

    Does anyone know if Iowa or Minnesota have their staffs filled yet? I could look it up but I’m kind of on the lazy side. That would tell me if we’re on pace or behind.

    I think they're getting matched our a raise, but not 100% sure on that.

    Texas Tech coach is out. Let's see who is up next. Having trouble trying to pay a lot of money to assistants when they take our offer back to their head coach and get raises.

    It’s hard to get big time assistants. Teams pay to keep them just like we did in football this year.

    I do not know. I do know that some assistants have some connections to some portal guys. Adams had a connection to Bailey.

    We’re deep into talks with him and some are saying it’s done. So we’ll see.
