    I want this to be clear: I think we have a shot at Brad, but I would still be surprised if he is the coach. I'm not getting my hopes up this time, but I like our chances; I just can't quite get there in my head yet.

    I hope what I'm hearing is right. But I'm told she knows this is his dream job and might be his last chance to get it, so she will not interfere with it. She is on board with his coming back if that is what he truly wants to do.

    The last time they took a vote, he lost 3-1. One of those votes is at Notre Dame now. I think one of those has flipped,and no family will let one kid hold them hostage. If Quinn is using IU planes to fly around the country, then we have donors who can lend their plane to the basketball daughter to fly home to see friends.

    Let me answer for you 1.5 million vs 10 million. Sometimes you miss the thing that made you fall in love with the sport. Being a GM is boring but drawing up plays and coaching is exciting. Makes the blood flow.

    Now that you mention it, it does seem suspicious. USPS is really the only mod who engages him. I’m going to keep my eye on this.

    If Woodson retires, then Michigan knows our job is open and can sign him to an extension. If we have Stevens lined up none of that matters. Also after the trade deadline, the only thing left to do is set your playoff roster. He could be free to do other things.

    I keep hearing he just signed a huge extension with a huge buyout when I asked someone about him. Sounds like his agent is interested in listening. So not really realistic.

    Really? A lot of rumors on the ISU board about him bolting to the first available NBA job this summer. Don't know if it's true or not but I don't want to take the risk. In all seriousness, if we get TJ, I'll hurt myself trying to do a backflip. I like him. I think he's on the list for sure. I have him 3rd or 4th for me.

    Yeah, but we are talking two Sweet 16s vs. two NC games and an NBA championship. I'm OK paying a little more for that, especially when it's not IU's money

    Yeah, the expectation for Alabama football every year is the final 4 or the national championship. After the last 30 years here for IUBB our expectations are just to make the tournament and we can't even get a coach to do that right now. Your comparison is spot on in my eyes

    That's what my son said to me the other day. He said can you imagine my freshman year at IU we get Cignetti and my sophomore year we get Stevens. I said that would be awesome but let's slow it down for now.
