Kind of wondering with UCLA's success if Lewis doesn't end up somewhere else as a head coach. I guess there's the eventual chance to promote from within if he does come to IU though.

Woodson has done a lot of things that many college coaches have not and never will do. There's a lot of stories and experience there that could really set him apart from the competition.

That's all I wanted. Someone who the players can buy in on their vision. Sounds like we'll take a modern approach to the game and be raining threes. You could hear how much he cares. I'm in.

There's a lot of good stuff in this thread.. you should browse through and look at the videos, etc that have been posted. I think for most the Matta hire takes this from being a headscratcher to sounding pretty promising.. He seems like a guy that players love being around, and that's something I've loved about Tom Allen. You want your team to fully buy in and being a players coach is a good way to do that.

Based on everything I've read/watched about him recently, I think that its such an established nickname that most people will just use that.
