Yeah I’m with you. Regardless I don’t completely understand the nobody eats their own like Indiana narrative. I think our fans can just see when the momentum is gone. The ones where fans have called for the firings have been completely justified imo. Mike Davis was in over his head and Kelvin Sampson we had nothing to do with. You could say fans have a negative effect on the program/players from a social media/online perspective and I’d agree with that, but in this case we haven’t even blamed the players. It’s not getting the right pieces and playing an archaic offense from a time when the 3 point line didn’t exist. How often are the fans actually wrong? We knew Crean was done. The pipeline had dried up. Bombed in Georgia. Archie never got it going. Currently 10-12 at Rhode Island. Stood on the 3 point line during a game last week. Woody had bad stretches each season and managed to rally in Jan/Feb…. But he had TJD last two seasons to make up for it.
